Palmyra Coaches/Teachers Fired

Good move by Salem. Those guys involved best hope is to find a job flying under the radar. No way can a school hire them to run a program or be an assistant principal.

Worked for one of them. Have seen some of their fb messenger messages to coworkers.

I remember our school's lawyer, supt., and principal lecturing the entire staff at beginning of the year teachers meetings. Our lawyer advised us to stay off all social media, and the supt told us they had the ability and right to view our emails anytime they liked, and anything we sent on school's computers could be held against us. We did have a teacher get reprimanded for being overheard talking about a student in a restaurant.

Our principal liked to say "Loose lips sink ships",

There are laws about student privacy and what you should discuss in public, but I don’t recall any laws about blasting parents Or administrators 😎😎😎

In today's climate, this being sent by a school employee is a firable offense. And potentially something law enforcement would be interested in ...

Krietemeyer: “If it’s (name redacted) I’m going to kill them all and myself in a murder suicide.”
Miles: “Just come in guns a blazing … kill them all.”

Yah im really surprised charges haven't been filed due to that.

Actually, I vehemently disagree with the thought that this wouldn't fly. This is an example of a coach actually doing his job. "Your son isn't playing because of these reasons." That's a coach showing his work. I completely understand when people talk about the social climate we live in, the way kids have changed, etc. But yet Nick Saban has won in multiple different social climates, UConn has now won 3 mens basketball national titles with different coaches in the last 15 years. They win because their culture is commited to success, not necessarily because they toed the right lines in the culture wars.

Leaders fairly and equitably holding their teams accountable will never go out of style. Society will never change that. These goobers weren't holding anyone accountable.
handled right maybe, but boy parents are so so passive aggressive. Kids most of the time understand why they are where they are on the depth chart or on the field, it the parents in the stands trying to be social that don't understand and can be a really good coaches nightmare.

But then on the other had I have seen a coach start a player for a new score board....

Apparently violated school policy on texting players without including admin, was warned about it, continued to do it, and was fired. Supposedly some other things too....who knows with the mess that is going on there.

Sounds like there is nobody in charge at that school and it is a free for all.... crazy
There is a big divide in the town too, been like that for a few years. Palmyra has not always been like this. Hopefully they can get it straightened out soon.
