Finally got his shoulder scoped. Playing with the bum shoulder all year he basically had what had been an average year for him. Lets hope that gets him back to where we hoped he'd be. If it does it'll be a pretty big boost. The Cards basically wasted a year on him. If he had been healthy this year he might have been enough to overcome other team issues and gotten them into the post season. He's going to want to put up good numbers next year to help that next contract. That should bode well for the Cards next year.

I heard a former Marlins exec on the radio this morning who said Ozuna used to have a cannon of an arm so cleaning up the shoulder should help him tremendously. But he also said he seriously doubts the birds will sign him to a long term deal.
