Only one State 11-man semifinal scheduled for Friday night: Liberty North at Rockhurst

8-man semis are both Friday as well (makes sense given their title game is the next Thursday).

Barring the totally unforeseen I will head right back to Rock for this one!

My term is BLOWOUT REMATCH. Yes I believe Rock has a definite shot this time around.

The one game that does make me wonder, though, is Blue Springs. Thing is that could have been a case of a very superior team playing down to a first round opponent.

Rock is the hot team who have played complete games the last few weeks. Liberty North against Liberty was too close for comfort if you are North. Liberty had a chance to win that game late in the 4th Q. North against Oak Park was bored but played a tight 3 Quarters and rested some starters. OP may have given North the chance to play clean and focused.

Rivalries are always tricky. This one is another Blowout Rematch. From my study of Rock that win down in Bentonville AR really stands out and now so does their miraculous comeback vs. St. Thomas Aquinas who will play for the KS 4A title Saturday (no multiplier in the Sunflower State yet).
