You hurry up offense haters will enjoy this.
I saw something today I had never seen. Ole Miss was playing hurry up offense. A D-lineman for Auburn came running off the field late so his 290 pound replacement came running onto the field just as the ball was snapped.
It just so happened, Ole Miss was throwing a swing pass to the running back toward the Auburn sideline and as soon as he caught it he was murdered by the huge guy running on. Rich Rodriquez, the OC and one of the spread offense gurus of college football who thought he was making an excellent call just shook his head in disbelief.
