looking for IL overtime rules found this interesting tidbit...
Sucess Rule
Starting in 2015 here in Illinois there will be what's called a " success rule " where if a program wins their division state championship 3 years in a row they will automatically be bumped to the next division from here on out. And if they have to much success in that new division they will continue to move up. Basically enough parents complained to the AD's that they were tired of seeing the same teams win year and year out and instead of putting a better product on the field they had this rule change.

SOOO, what happens if you play in the highest classification and always win? Does your team play in the POWER FIVE?
Very impressive showing by Trinty. They may be for real.
Thought they may have to suspend game at midnight because of Trinity Catholic. But checked the religious rule book. and says
"Catholics can take part in sports on Sunday, if they do not conflict with their own or other’s ability to keep the Sabbath"

WELL, I guess that THIS PROVES that Trinity is a JOKE!
By the BY, Colquitt resumed a neighborhood getogether with a previous region rival Friday night! However, Thomasville is not a large school any longer! They are currently ranked #2 in Georgia AA! And they have a pretty dang good football team, with a former Rush ProPst assistant as their head man! The reason we won handily is, that the Packers just happen to have more depth than anybody in the country! NO MORE, NO LESS! NO STARS just a lot of good high school players, that have us at #1 in Georgia, and #13 in the USA! THAT, and the best high school football coach in America! JUST STATING the FACTS!
As for you boys insinuating that I brag! Nothing could be further from the truth! As my wise ole Grandma use ta tell me, "Lil Rabid, if you can DO it, it AIN'T BRAGGIN!"
Braggin is when you feel behoove to embellish the truth! With a team that looks as though it may be stronger than our 2015 National Champions! No NEED to embellish THESE Packers! Good luck to you boys and Trinity, in the coming weeks!

They lost to the #5 Class 8A in IL 34-14. But they were tied with them 14-14 at half.
To me thats more impressive then the Trinity game
Nobody said Trinty was a joke. They just rely on talent rather than scheme and coaching. The fact that they couldn't win Class 2 and who dominates that class highlights this disparity. Funny, but doesn’t answer my question. I say close to none. Checked none. No championships. Not sure about playoff wins. Or district wins for East St.Louis.

2 state championships and 10 league championships in the last 15 years. Class 7A. Currenlty ranked #7 in all classes in IL.
Did you seriously just try to argue that East St. Louis HS has never won any big games, yet you didn’t even know they’re in Illinois and not Missouri? Wow.
ESL is the winningest high school football program in Illinois. I’d list all of their accomplishments for you, but I REALLY think you need to check the facts for yourself. That was embarrassing.
You’ll never convince me you’re not a Trinity fan (or Coach) from right there in the STL area.
