Official Games moved outside

Wow Springfield getting a lot of love. Nice to see.

Surely the classifications cannot be far behind

the whole idea of moving 8 man to the dome was to get state wide attention so other schools would see it, now it is going back to the nw part of the state, it has spread since it was moved to the dome, just hope it keeps spreading

Pros: only a 90 minute drive from lamar
Cons: outside if weather is crappy
Pro: go to bass pro afterwords to cheer myself up
Con: no more pappys bbq before the game
Pro: if weather is nice ill get to see something other than class 2&4 in person

They didn't say that Springfield was out of the running. They just needed more time to evaluate the bids for Cameron and Chillicothe, but Springfield also bid for the 8-man game. Springfield may ultimately get it.

The renovations have made Plaster look...um...better than it did.

I really don't like the idea of the games being outside. But much closer to Webb so there's that.

I liked watching games at plaster before they fixed it up in terms of the state championship. The atmosphere in a smaller venue is better than the atmosphere in a down in my opinion. The emptiness of the dome.

Obviously the comfort of the dome was a very nice luck Sharee

sms has a nice stadium, when I was down there had season tickets every year, I don't mind having the games at sms, if it is nice weather it will be good, the dome the weather was always nice and made it easy to watch games all day

It's great that now they will play outside. The first 13-14 games of the year are outside so why not??? Kansas plays outside and those kids turn out fine. Are they tougher than Missouri?

I've been to games at Arrowhead, SMS, and the Dome. By far the best atmosphere was at SMS when the stadium was full. Emptiness in a giant arena isn't appealing to me.
I totally agree. A full venue is much more fun than a big venue.

"In my day, we didn't have these new college names. We had SMS, CMSU and UMR. And we liked it." That is what you people sound like. Fact: The school is called Missouri State. Opinion: It is SMS.

Fact beats opinion every time.
