GOOD FOR HIM! What a career!Thomas is returing and Odessa is now on the clock.
Only thing to worry about is roster size this year and the factors surrounding itThat should be a sought after job. Great athletic support and facilities.
He can leave him alone he is ours when Alley retiresThere has been quite a bit of movement with faculty between Fort and Odessa over the years. The high school principal came from Fort. Wonder if he will try and lure someone out that way.
Is he though? I heard his name mentioned somewhere else last week.He can leave him alone he is ours when Alley retires
No not at all he is free to do as he wishes. It is just another one of the laughable rumors from the long time residents. Every year since I've been here i have heard it's Alleys last year and Bult is taking over. This year was the funniest because why would Allwy come back for a rebuild year after the 2023 teams success. Is he though? I heard his name mentioned somewhere else last week.
Think they have same problem Maryville and some other Class 2/3 schools. Some of the best athletes in school kicking the round ball instead of football.Only thing to worry about is roster size this year and the factors surrounding it
This sure is true with our east side 92 highway squad in Excelsior SO FAR. The new HC and staff may change that if gradually.Think they have same problem Maryville and some other Class 2/3 schools. Some of the best athletes in school kicking the round ball instead of football.
They have a good crew of 7th graders I do know that. This sure is true with our east side 92 highway squad in Excelsior SO FAR. The new HC and staff may change that if gradually.
Wish they'd flip boys and girls soccer seasonsThink they have same problem Maryville and some other Class 2/3 schools. Some of the best athletes in school kicking the round ball instead of football.
Problem there is softball overlap. I doubt that ever happens...............Wish they'd flip boys and girls soccer seasons
Move that to spring with baseball then. In fact don't some already have spring softballProblem there is softball overlap. I doubt that ever happens...............

More than a few.A few yes.

A lot of smaller schools that can’t support volleyball and softball both in the fall. Or don’t want to support both.More than a few.
There are state Spring softball championships for 2 or 3 classes.
If I had to guess, I’d say 80 schools play in the spring? I could be wayyyy off though.
Just did the math and there are 130 schools that play spring softball across 2 classes. Way more than I expected to be honest. Schools as big as Buffalo actually play it and I thought it was all tiny schools. Not that Buffalo is big but you get what I mean I'm sure.More than a few.

Some choose to support both those programs and the ability to field teams. Most of those schools that play these sports in theses seasons would not have the #'s to support both if same season. A few teams see a chance to chase added success by being the bigger teams playing. All my opinion, but all makes sense.A lot of smaller schools that can’t support volleyball and softball both in the fall. Or don’t want to support both.
My alma mater made the final four for spring softball last year and they’ve probably got an enrollment of around 375 or so grades 9-12 if I had to guess.Just did the math and there are 130 schools that play spring softball across 2 classes.
