C6 semi scheduled to tip right after noon. Will post as I can from work......................but business first so could be gaps in score etc. reporting.

Seemed like both teams had a case of the shooting nerves and Nixa is, by and large, dictating the pace. OP only got out on the run once did not convert. Eagles getting back nicely on D and got a couple of key blocks down low.

I tell ya what, this is a very physical game both ways and it seems as if the refs are calling more defensive fouls on Nixa than they are on Oak Park and I’ll be honest, OP has probably committed twice as many

Very, very high quality semifinal as pointed out a physical war inside. Shooting, never mind from 3, a bit off in this one so far (saw a little of this first half of the last game) wonder if the fact this is first game in some time in a cavernous arena has anything to do with that (State quarters now in HS gyms)?

Overall Oakies flat out didn't play well and Nixa controlled the pace by and large (although OP threatened to draw this one out running late in half) but lead at half a good sign perhaps moving forward but NO way to predict this outcome at this point.

Oh no you are reading like that Marionville FB fan (well not that bad so far LOL) from a couple of years back................

It’s hard not to think that and this is coming from someone who is not a Nixa fan.

Both teams playing physical basketball, and one team is getting called for the majority of the fouls.

I haven’t seen a Nixa guard drive the basket without getting checked the whole way down the lane.

OP is a very, very well schooled D team especially in transition. In saying that no it is not a perfectly called game but are any, frankly?

Gonna be in and out for 4th got business to attend but overall synopsis is how fortunate OP is thus far. Missing sooooo many easy ones. I want to blame the college arena and rims for that but too many now. In saying that this one has that "get out of jail free" feel to it going into the 4th.

If Nixa makes even 65-70% of their FTs this is a 4-5 point game.

Announced said they’ve shot 61% as a team from the line this year and I think they’re only 30-35% today.
OP has missed a zillion easy chances. I am trying to resist (to a degree) the College Arena and rims conspiracy theory but................

If there was going to be a day to beat Oak Park this was it. They are missing a lot of lay ups. However Nixa is really bothered by the length of Oak Park inside. Nixa can't score.

55-50 Oak Park with 41 sec left.

Intentional foul on Nixa.

I would just foul Nixa if I was OP, they’re 50/50 at best today, but really only shooting 35%

Missed 3P for Nixa.

57-50 OP and headed to the line. That should do it.

Close finish. Good, physical game from both teams.

Idk if either of these teams stays within single digits of Chaminade.
