GREAT post to welcome the newbies! Well done! Having said that, welcome to MoSports any new poster who may be reading this. I recommend checking out the 'Doc Guys Together' thread. Its a living history of us Doc Guys. Some good stuff in there!

Over the last 40 years Carney has a winning record against Webb City (but Jeff CIty and Rockhurst are ofer)

I also feel like the Willard funnel cakes should be mentioned as well.

I don't know what that means but I do know that carne does have a winning record at Webb and against Webb. When is coach Rodgerwgatever going to put a purple K on that field down there? (Hehehe)

And by the way coach Thomas at Odessa never lost to Roderick... he's got like five state titles too. 2-0 at Webb. All HAIL coach Thomas!

It came to the coach I will see you at the SW football coaches association meeting at Deer run and we'll fight. Then at the meeting he calls out whoever it was to go out to the parking lot and throw hands. Whoever it was never spoke up so it ended as a dud. It was a fun week though of reading their insults to each other.

That's back when players and probably quite a few coaches would frequent mosports. Lots of immature discussion and smack talk, like what you'd expect from 15-18yr olds. Then there was that person with the handle carthagemom who was always getting baited into arguments.

My absolute favorite along these lines was David Heeb when he was coaching hoop at Bell City and then Scott County. Lots of smack being spewed. I guess he finally had enough of it and came on and responded. His handle? HEEB. It was awesome while it lasted.
