Myles Garrett Thoughts?

With other players, current and past, chiming in that he should be done for the year says a lot. There is no place in the game for that and needs to be addressed. That could have ended very badly, very badly.

He should be done for the year at a minimum. I dont think 10 games total, which would go into next year, is unreasonable.

This will be interesting. I will at least say he stuck up for his teammate. In a society where people are more apt to record incident on a camera phone, I actually see nothing wrong with what Pouncy did personally.
Pouncy has to get a game or two. I understand he was sticking up for his QB. If it were just the punches I would be with you.. But the kicking has to draw something. But it will me minimal.

He's done this year, but Rudolph should get fined and suspended at least 1 game.
I'd say Rudolph will get fined because of the groin kick but he definitely will not get suspended. Pouncy will get a hefty fine and a game or two I would say

The NFL should be fined for allowing QBs to whine when I guy puts a finger on them.

Please elaborate
I would say the attempt to rip off the neanderthal's helmet and kicking him in the family jewels is what he's referencing.

If you look close at the video, it appears that the QB's finger(s) are caught in the facemask of the accused when he feverishly tries to dislodge them. Some are trying to make it out that Rudolph started it with these actions. That's false however as the original foul of roughing the QB several seconds after the ball was out is what started it. Gotta lol at offsetting penalties on the play.

No excuse for this type of behavior. He should at minimum be done for the year. Give Rudolph and Pouncy fines and/or a single game.

edit - also a fine/suspension for the guy who took out Rudolph after the skulling.

Oh the horror of it, he could've killed him, but he didn't. I've witnessed worse on Friday night.
not sure what you're trying to say here. what i mean is that it isn't elementary recess so Rudolph doesn't deserve a suspension simply because he "started" it. A Fine would be more than sufficient imo

Truman said this isn't 3rd-grade recess. He's wrong.

Did you see the part where MR tried to twist his helmet off?

Literally just about anything done in a football game previously would've been a better response.

Where/when have you seen worse on Friday? I’ve probably seen a thousand football games and I’ve never seen worse...
This is an anonymous board. I saw 2 just as bad with open injuries, and 1 worse with a broken jaw (worst), concussion, slashed forehead. I haven't seen it all but I have seen enough.

Rudolph started it TWICE. I would like to see the NFL just end both teams' seasons. That would fix it. - I wonder if Garrette was just trying to put Rudolph's helmet back on him?

I played football in Georgia and in 1992 or 1993 we had a bench clearing fight on a Friday night that sent multiple people to the er from helmets being used as weapons and one was an official. It was nasty and ended about 6 high school careers that night for seniors and a few others for the rest of the season.

In addition to Garrett being suspended indefinitely (minimum remainder of season and playoffs lol), Pouncy gets 3 games and the dude who hit Rudolph gets 1 game, with more suspensions pending.
