Shouldn’t that be the “Catholic League Football”
Bosko is rolling on a Monday.............
True fact. #34 from Cassville can play LB for any of the schools in the state. That kid can run and hit. Just appreciate the talent across the state. If you are really a fan of football and closely paying attention to the talent and coaching in the StL area this post-season, then a snarky OP is more than a little short-sighted. Even though the team I favor isn't from the metro, it's obvious that StL schools are trending upward despite what happened collectively in the the C1 - C5 semis. And, in the end, having a strong StL high school football presence is a really good thing for MSHSAA football statewide. SWMO, StL, KC - and now SEMO - can all say they are producing high level talent and successful programs, and that is a really good thing.
It would be if Joplin didn’t have to play a regional collection of store bought jocksIf you are really a fan of football and closely paying attention to the talent and coaching in the StL area this post-season, then a snarky OP is more than a little short-sighted. Does not matter. I am sure Coach Jasper will be the first to tell you they let that game slip away and should have won. Can not turn the ball over 5 times and expect to win in any game. Hats off to Joplin for a great season. It would be if Joplin didn’t have to play a regional collection of store bought jocks

I was reading and agreeing until I saw KC being listed. Things not looking good for them.

Stop it. KC is just fine. Look up your history.............not the first couple of years our Metro hasn't won a title. Then look up how many years KC dominated (happened just four years ago). It comes and goes in cycles.I was reading and agreeing until I saw KC being listed. Things not looking good for them.

And Im not so sure thats accurate New Guy.If they get to count Odessa as Kansas City then I'm counting Ste Genevieve as St. Louis.
You are Purple. Aren't you in Jones Co?Stop it. KC is just fine. Look up your history.............not the first couple of years our Metro hasn't won a title. Then look up how many years KC dominated (happened just four years ago). It comes and goes in cycles.
My #1 program to watch (not just because it is the former KTown HC) is Liberty North. If Jones and Co. stay there look out............the talent level of that program is going nowhere but up and the sky's the limit.
I'm just an interested, casual fan. Upper management is a headache enough............cannot imagine coaching. Why I have so much respect for the profession. You are Purple. Aren't you in Jones Co?
Where would Odessa be then? Central Mo?If they get to count Odessa as Kansas City then I'm counting Ste Genevieve as St. Louis.
I see.I'm just an interested, casual fan. Upper management is a headache enough............cannot imagine coaching. Why I have so much respect for the profession.
Lafayette County is on the satellite edge of the KC Metro. At the rate east KC is growing, though..............Where would Odessa be then? Central Mo?
I WILL say, the Lutheran North moms were hotI see everyone has fallen into my Monday morning trap! Any true MoSports poster would know I dont have a dog in this fight. I was merely trying to spark some KC vs. STL debates! I also wanted to poke a little fun at the STL posters claiming STL would "sweep" everyone! Carry on!
Whoa nelly!I WILL say, the Lutheran North moms were hot
WHOA! Bosko likey! Go on....I WILL say, the Lutheran North moms were hot

New HC coming at Rock. That program will trend upward, too. This was an odd year in KC.............tons of great D and not one really flashy, consistent O among the whole bunch in C6.HISTORY is the key word here.
Im referring to the last year no KC teams and then the especially weak showing this year.
Liberty North was supposed to be the great KC team, they get upset by Ray-Pec who then get Slaughtered by DeSmet.
It looks like we have Joplin, Webb, Carthage, and about 8 or so STL Area teams before we get to the best team in KC.
More troubling is that the usual powers Rock, BS, BSS LSW are all way down.
New HC coming at Rock.
Yeah it has been a loooooong time. I absolutely agree! That just sounds weird, but I wish Coach Severino all the best.
When you refine that crystal ball of yours and know what the next 10+ years will bring please feel free to let me know...................HISTORY is the key word here.

Good gravy you and JN should get married...............I didnt comment on the future did I???????
Pretty sure I just said that KC is currently way down especially the typical power programs. You could easily Argue that 2019 was the worst year for KC Football this Century. They are also a very distant 3rd behind SWMO and STL in the regional power rankings.
I dont even see what you're trying to dispute these are obvious facts.
Both of ya always gotta be right OR ELSE.............Good gravy you and JN should get married...............

Joplin is Missouri State Champs in my book

Cherry pick top teams, that might be the case. The #5 team in the KC area thumped the #2 team in St. Louis. What are you talkin' bout Willis?
Better than being wrong. You can always decide on NOT commenting when you see cold hard facts.

Overall, down...yes, KC down. But even an average team from KC beat the #2 in St. Louis easily
