7. SLUH (12-6)
8. Chaminade (14-6)
9. Troy Buchanan (15-4)
10. Rock Bridge (13-3)

SLUH came out of nowhere in Class 6 taking down CBC, Webster Groves and then Chaminade in the last two weeks to earn a #7 rankings. Lee's Summit West popped up on my radar and have quietly been very good. They don't have the best schedule, but looking at their team I can see why they're 17-1. Tall, athletic, and can shoot. Seems to be a team who took a while to get it together and now they have. Troy Buchanan nearly took down Nixa and might've had a few calls go against them in Nixa's gym this past Saturday.

*Not all of the records may not be accurate. Usually go on each team's MSHSAA page and STL Today for the St. Louis teams for the records. Sorry if I missed on some team who've done pretty well. All of your considerations are welcome.

Same question as last week... How are Hollister and/or Forsyth not showing up in Class 4 Rankings?

Being a Troy fan and having a grandson on the team, I am somewhat prejudice. Troy lost 3 games early by 3, 2, and 2. They lost to some excellent teams but Troy was without a starter from last year. He has since returned 5 games ago. He might have made a difference in some or all of those games. That being said rankings mean very little and when Districts get here there are some very good teams that are going to get beat. No way am I saying Troy should be ranked ahead of any of those teams. I am just providing some information.

Very aware Tyler Moore had not been playing for most of the season. Even had a couple of games where they didn't have Keegan Linbaugh whose a crazy forward only being 6-3.

Keegan has a motor that won't quit. He made a block in overtime which might have saved the game. A kid from Zumwalt got a steal at half-court and Keegan was at the free throw line. Keegan caught him and block the shot. I have probably watched the play 10 times.

We shouldn’t be ranking teams that refuse to update their scores and record on the MSHSAA website.

In fact, I think any team that is just flat refusing to update their scores at this point in the season should be ineligible for postseason play and their coach should be terminated.

Why are we bothering to play the games if the outcome is deemed irrelevant by coaches and Activities Directorss?

Yes, I have noticed many teams this late in season have a dozen games not updated on MSHSAA. There should be a penalty to the school if updated records aren't recorded within 24 hours.

Yep give them 48-72 hours and if no score is put in then a fine should be given. They give our fines in other sports.

I've never looked at MSHSAA for records till I read this thread. Coaches in the STL area put score and stats on stltoday. As a coach, MSHSAA doesn't even cross my mind. However, the scores and stats are reported the night of the game on stltoday. I usually update MSHAA before districts because they give us a reminder about the deadline. It's not on purpose, we just have different places to post that provide more detail about the game. I'm not sure if this is the case in other areas of the state or if they utilize MSHSAA better.
