Any rhyme or reason why Weaubleau is traveling to St. Joe and Marionville and Hartville are traveling to UCM. There’s a lot of quality gyms a whole lot closer.

I think it was decided on the Girls Basketball board that it's a conspiracy against SWMO teams.

Not really.
Maybe nobody signed up to host.

MSHSAA made it difficult for a lot of schools this year so they can push to have sectionals and quarterfinals hosted by one of the schools in the game like they do for football, baseball, softball. Based on conspiracy theories and hearsay.

You would sell more tickets if the sectional and quarterfinal games were on a home court.

It’s a slap in the face to insinuate a max effort wasn’t made? Yeah, it’s crazy to question MSHSAAs commitment to doing what’s best for schools and kids. They have such a rich history of doing right by the members. Just take this year for example. It’s not like C5 and C6 district tournaments are played over the course of two separate weeks. Or that they’ve completely split venues for boys and girls districts. Wait, wut? They’ve done exactly just that this year? Hmmmm. Well certainly it wasn’t done for money. (Checks notes and references the streaming blocks by MSHSAA during districts and playoffs) Yeah, who would EVER question MSHSAA and their efforts to do the right thing. What a crock and a completely arrogant statement by their communications director. Why schools accept this is beyond me.

I disagree at least in SW Missouri when sectionals and or quarterfinals were held at Drury, Mo State, SBU, even Republic high school there have been more people at those games then would fit in any of the gyms of the teams playing almost every time over the last 20 years.
