Monett hasn't looked very good since the Lamar game. We've still been winning but we haven't looked very crisp

Monett wins 35-14. Great ball game till the 4th qtr when mistakes and not being able to move the ball hurt the Indians.

We have 15 seniors and they are pretty good but I think coach Macfarland has something in him to get the kids to buy into what he is bringing to Seneca unlike our previous HC. We will lose all of our O and D line especially the size but Hatfield who is a Jr has stepped up big at RB and our QB is just a sophomore and he is getting more comfortable in the offense. I know you can't really tell how good JV will be when they play varsity but our JV and freshman team looks pretty solid.

Might be a bumpy year losin that many seniors but if there is young talent underneath to work with maybe they can atleast hold steady. Good to see seneca and east newton showing signs of life again

It will all depend on the boys buying into the system. Coach Mac is a great guy along with the other coaches and if he can instill some of the knowledge he learned from coach Rod Seneca should be on the upswing. Yes it is good to see us both showing signs of life. Just makes the Big 8 even tougher and one of if not the best conferences in the state.

I don't think we can make it out of districts if they don't start playing more physical and with a little want too.

Yes Monett needed to turn the ball back over to Seneca up only 2 scores. A quick score by Seneca and an onside kick makes the game interesting so Monett decided to put it away.

Just saying no need to throw the ball when you have a stud at RB and just kill the clock.
