Didn’t follow the link but I know there’s a kid from little ole Mound City who is doing a pretty good job at tournament bound Nebraska-Omaha

They lost 3 games in the valley and of the Power conference teams they did play(there were only 1 or 2), those teams were pretty lackluster. Extremely weak schedule.

Not saying they won’t beat Mizzou or do well in the tournament, but I think if a mid major wants to do well, they need to beef up the non conference schedule. They played St Ambrose during the regular season for Pete’s sake. They’re NAIA

And it wasn’t a preseason exhibition mind you, this was 8-9 games into the season or something like that.

McCollums a great coach and did an amazing job at Northwest Missouri and brought some good guys with him. Just don’t know if they’re going to be up to snuff with the competition in the tournament. We shall see.

I didn't pick them as a darkhorse because they are playing Mizzou, BTW. Have liked them all year.
