Friend and colleague Cody Thorn strikes again ... compiled this list for SI.

He also did the same thing for Texas high school players in the tournament ... found 93 Texas high school alumni on NCAA Tournament team rosters including at least one player on 32 of the 68 teams in the tournament.

Cody does good work. Good guy, too. Helluva combination.

Not a knock on his work but unless they are originally from Missouri, I do not consider Link players as former Missouri high school players

Philon was at KU until June or so. Self said I don't need you because I have Juan Harris. Just imagine.

They lost 3 games in the valley and of the Power conference teams they did play(there were only 1 or 2), those teams were pretty lackluster. Extremely weak schedule.

Not saying they won’t beat Mizzou or do well in the tournament, but I think if a mid major wants to do well, they need to beef up the non conference schedule. They played St Ambrose during the regular season for Pete’s sake. They’re NAIA

And it wasn’t a preseason exhibition mind you, this was 8-9 games into the season or something like that.

Quite the MO list playing for the Bulldogs.

Good news is Missouri State, the mediocrest of all mediocre teams won't have to worry about McCollum for long...
