Centralia to West Platte? That's an odd move.
. Supt’s an old Centralia coach - May be some connection there....
It’s announced that Jim Newsted has accepted the West Platte job. Pending board approval this month. Newsted hasn’t resigned from Centralia yet. Not sure when the board meeting is but I’d expect it to be very soon.

Mountain View - Liberty coach Darin Acklin is moving on leaving an opening in the SCA. Liberty probably had 2 or 3 winning seasons total before he arrived. In his 17 year tenure I think he won at least 10 district titles and 6 conference championships and had about a 3-4 year stretch where they finished 2nd in the final poll each year to the Lamar machine.
Haha yeah that's been the joke around town for a minute. I'm not sure but the talk is he might go down to Mtn. Home, AR. with Steve Ary to be the Bombers OC.
With all the changes at some of the bigger players (Centralia, South Shelby, Macon and to a lesser degree Palmyra), I'd say the CCC will be as wide open as it's ever been this season if it occurs.
Yeah that's where the to a lesser degree part came from. Let's just hope we get to see what's up this year.

It was open last year too. They hired Justin Hamilton, DC at Belton, this go around.

Kirksville has hired Kevin Krietemeyer as head coach. Former Bowling Green coach and Unity Payson in Illinois.
Very good hire for them. As is Gunterman at South Shelby.
