.....The annual Mexico Freshman Tournament finals were played this morning in Gooch Gym and the Mex-Plex. Columbia Hickman, Hannibal, JC Helias, Columbia Battle,Mexico, North Callaway, Fulton and Boonville made up the 8-team bracket..
The Mexico Bulldogs made it 2-in-a-row with a championship win over a very good Columbia Hickman squad by the final score of 61 to 45 after leading 39 to 19 at the break... Contributions were many with Jordan Shelton leading the way in scoring with 23 pts...

5th place - Battle 53, North Callaway 34
7th Place - Hannibal 53, Fulton 21
