This the most competitive small school schedule I've seen.

Plays Hazelwood Central week 1

rest of the season plays Blair Oaks, Maryville, Lutheran St Charles, St. Mary's, and MICDS.

Never seen a small school schedule so loaded with State Champion level competition.

I guess when schools like John Burroughs, who had no problem beating everyone by 60 earlier last decade during their run, are too scared to play you, you have to go to other areas of the state to find games!

Shout out to BO, Maryville, and others for taking on the challenge. Would love to see more of this.

Everyone wants to go 12-0 before they actually play a real team. not these schools.

Apparently you havent heard of this small, rural, public school in GA. I think it was Colquitt County?

Schedule was HARD last year too.

St. Mary's Lost (Amazing team)
Thomas Aquinas Lost (Solid team)
MICDS Lost (MICDS really good last year)
Bishop Miege - Won. (unusual down year for BM at 5-7)

It says something about the reputation that program has earned when larger teams, who have no other incentive to play a smaller school, agree to play you because they know you'll challenge them and prepare them for the playoffs at any level.

Yeah, from 2014 to 2019...Miege was freaking good

Yes, "never seen a small school play such loaded competition...". Obviously their talent is impressive, would be more impressed if they were held to boundary lines.

Yeah, when I hear about good program produced drafted free agent teams, it kind of makes me go, "Meh...they should be outstanding right?" Its the only championship teams the St. Louis metro produces...

We all speak ad nauseum about the whole private and public thing. Ultimately it's hard to blame the kids, we all agree there. In addition, we can say that at least LN is going out and finding competition. They aren't playing Herculaneum every week.
