Believe they are at 8 points now. 6 is one class bump, 12 is two. Not sure where enrollment puts them initially.
Blair Oaks beat them at their own game. Controlling the line of scrimmage. LN had 0 offensive TDs.

On a Serious Note, I think coach is a GREAT Leader and positive Role Model. LN was in No mans land for a couple years until about 2014.
But Im noticing a pattern, whenever faced vs a Team who also is talented (Ritter, Lamar, BO Twice) and what you did all season isnt working. Not a single adjustment is being made. Thanks to MSHSAA I didnt see the game but if You’re up 9-7 at half and get outscored 37-0 2nd half it sounds like they said Hmm what we’re doing is not working and made adjustments and LN did nothing.
I’d heard from a guy whose coached for twenty some years in MO that the LN’s Ford couldn’t be stopped 😂
They can kick some non athletic (if they exist) kids out to keep enrollment down.
Just perused the handbook and you are correct. 3 is one class and 8 is two. Sorry @BPcompete but poor Lutheran North will have to tread water in Class 3 another year or two.
Travion was not stopped. He had 3 blockers on him at 1 time and still made plays. Kid was a workhorse out there. LN got tired and playing 4 games might have something to do with that. Hats off to BO defense who played lights out. LN was well coached as well. Maybe 5 flags thrown all day on both teams. There is a lot of pressure on state champs and very talented teams like they have. Good luck to the LN seniors who are moving on to the next level.

I will say the LN players seem like good kids. Wish them nothing but the best. I don't agree with how that school has put their team together, but hats off to their kids for earning all those scholarships and grabbing an opportunity.

Coach Reed has put those kids in a spot to succeed that they may not have at other schools. Awesome win by Blair Oaks I can’t wait to see the highlights
This cant be... The STL posters (especially one) said that STL was gonna win all the titles. And none were more of a lock than this one..... All that D1 talent.

I've never seen someone take their lumps as graciously and hilariously as @BPcompete. Kudos to you sir. Excited to see all of the LN kids playing at the next level over the next few years.
It's always fun to see a STL super power school go down but no doubt they have some elite talent there . Can you imagine what bailey or roderique would do at a place like that ?

I think Reed at LN is a good coach. But what Roderique and his staff do better than almost anyone is adjusting. Like what was said previously LN doesn't get outscored 37-0 in the second half if they actually make effective adjustments at halftime.
The kids In those programs I doubt would buy in to what is required to play for those two guys

Got to give the LN coach credit for sticking to his principles of smashmouth football instead of changing schemes to the talent of his players. Using their speed in more of a Pro set type offense. Like what Blair Oaks will see next week against Cardinal Ritter.

They would. Carl Reed doesn’t f around. They need to keep him on to keep the kids coming and hire a legit offensive coordinator
Yeah possibly. But LN being in better shape and not focused on the next level as much as being the best right now and for your brothers on your team would help. That’s the problem with these “power schools” in STL. They don’t play for the team, they play for themselves. There’s been a lot of wasted potential having these graduation high coaches.
Understand. My point was more in reference to bringing Rodrique or Bailey to LN and how much more of a difference they would make. Reed did win a state title last year. More so just disrespect to Coach LePage and his staff. Ted built the BO program and others were able to sustain it. If he would have stayed and never left for JC he might 5-6 more titles. We will never know. We saw the Bailey experiment at JC didn’t work out as planned.
Because I don’t think Reed is a very good in game coach. He is fantastic in every other way and what he does for those kids is amazing.
