Lowly SEC EAST?

Never sucks to be in the #1 conference in the NCAA. Most in the Big 12 would trade places with Miz in a second given the chance.

I think if you look back on the 2014 season, you all would see how good the ACC was. That is all.

Compared to what?
Top heavy and FSU didn't belong in the final 4 (as the results showed). Clemson lost to all the good teams they played. Louisville needed a miracle to beat UK . Yeah UK. I like Ga Tech but they did lose to DUKE.

Id say b1g and ACC were real close to being third toughest conference.

SEC

PAC

b1g-ACC

Yeah but the second play sent you in hiding for awhile

I was just joking but it was funny seeing you get a serious response.

ACC is no where near the top conference. Although when you're sending as many athletes to the NFL and recent success I do believe they're on the up. And they did win against the SEC last year. Whether they were the low lifes of the SEC is not an issue. Those were the same teams MU played against throughout the season that helped them get into the SEC Championship game.

Anyway, that's all I got.

actually who you beat is an issue. It's like webb only playing SEMO teams. What would that really tell anyone?

So who did MU beat last year?
So who did MU beat last year?

All the hottest teams of the moment...games they weren't favored in week after week on their way to another SEC E title. After we were all told Miz can't compete in the SEC. Then after back to backs the SEC suddenly sucked...strange flip flopping. ha

Right, they lost to Indiana(4-8) team. They lost 34-0 to Georgia(who did beat Louisville 37-14, but lost to G-Tech). And they lost to Bama 42-13.(Which I guess in Veers standard, that showed they didn't belong in the SEC Championship????)

Did MU even beat a team that finished ranked at the end of the year?

MIzzou wasn't discussed as a NC contender this year (for good reason). FSU was supposed to be good.

Turbo clocked in the final 4. By the team that got TROUNCED by a team that got by Bama 42-35.

ACC baby.

Lol so FSU wasn't good because of one loss. OSU got beat by V-Tech for crying out loud. They beat who beat who beat.....The fighting cry of Veer

So MU beat a 7-6 Arkansas(UNR) team and a 8-5 A&M(also UNR, who just so happen had zero wins against ranked teams)....lmao.

lol @ you using in season rankings. We saw how good those turned out for the SEC West, like Mississippi State against that lowly G-Tech team(oh I'll play the veer card, they did lose to some lowly ACC teams).

Final sagarin rankings.
You trust media polls. I like to actually look at the compiled numbers.

Subjectivity vs objectivity.

Yeah those rankings are comic gold. Has two teams ahead of FSU that they beat head to head(G-Tech and Clemson (3) loses apc, compared to 1). He has both Georgia and Miss State ahead of G-Tech(who they both lost to). Arkansas was 2-6 vs Top 30, FSU 4-1....

Meanwhile according to Mr. Sag, FSU played a tougher schedule than both Mich. State and Baylor, yet fall farthing into these rankings with less loses?

Should I go on?

Quality stuff that guy is putting out. #secretformula

Yeah learn to math.

Did I miss something? Has he put out his top secret formula? Am I wrong with what I said above?(Could be, just making casual observations of a shotty system)

His formula obviously is a lot more complicated than your assumptions.

It's about who you play, who they play and who their opponents play. Plus margin of victory matters. When you barely beat crap teams you don't deserve to be in the playoff (see: FSU). FSU was like ND in 2012 . Media darling that got rung up.

Why would he publish proprietary information and the sole source of his income? Seems dumb.

Veer: according to your boy's ratings... Only the SEC and the North part of the PAC12 were better than the Big12 last year.

and I think the Big 12 is fine with them being gone. Lose nothing with TCU instead of Mizzou.... so both sides are happy... good deal. As far as changing places?.. Im sure some would but doubt the majority.

Soooooooo losing to crap teams is better than barely beating them? #veerlogic

Seems silly to follow something so closely without actually knowing what you're following.

For all you know the missing link to Sagarin's formula is a monkey playing darts.

So in that case it'd be slightly more accurate than humans picking with their biases and agendas?
Thanks.

TCU didn't expand the footprint whatsoever, which is what nowadays realignment is all about, this isn't rocket science. WVU basically gives the Big 12 nothing. If the Big 12 was fine with the move they sure threw a hissy fit about it when Miz left....and only Miz. The same tantrums weren't thrown when Cu/Nu/TAM left. Perhaps I just read and remember a lot of the articles and quotes attacking Miz . And yes...a majority of Big 12 schools wouldn't turn down an SEC offer. Especially knowing that Tx/Ou will eventually will leave. Then we'll have the Power 4.
