I thhought that was right.Alright, just looked it up. Parkview lost 54 straight but the winner is Iberia who lost 72 straight from 1965-1974
Could you imagine the stress on the seniors form both schools. Sherwood chance to end the streak and Jasper being the seniors who the streak got ended on.Sherwood currently has a 47 game losing streak. Their last win was the 2015 season opener against Pleasant Hope 14-7.
Gainesville lost 66 straight from 1979-1985Not sure how long it was but Gainesville (which no longer has football) had a really long losing streak before they folded their program.
It looks like they are at 39How many is Central at?
Coach Cole the longtime Jeff City coach was the head coach who broke the streak. It was his first year at Iberia, and they went 3-7 that year. He said he could have been mayor of the town after that year.I’m imagining how those kids must’ve felt when they broke that streak. I’d bet they were as proud and as elated as any ShoMe Bowl winner.
What was Straffords first year?Iberia beat Strafford to end the 72 game win streak. It was Strafford's first year of football.
Man I love this post!!!!!! My brother was the UCLA of Nerf basketball. Brought back some memories. My older brother (by 7 years) once beat me 72 straight games in wiffle ball. He sincerely counted. The day I blasted one off of our basketball backboard and thru the hoop for an automatic grand slam to break the streak is a significant part of our family lore. Is this the same thing?

I grew up to hate losing way more than I loved winning. He literally never let me win at anything, then later took some of the credit for my athletic achievements. Bahahahahaha
I can remember trying to tackle him (a 16 year old ) when I was 9 and having a hold of his ankle as he dragged me the length of the yard.

One of my favorite quotes is "Losing should feel worse than winning feels good"I grew up to hate losing way more than I loved winning. He literally never let me win at anything, then later took some of the credit for my athletic achievements. Bahahahahaha

Agreed.
For example, I find filet mignon much more significant than eye of round.
