Your team having trouble winning one under the current system?
nope my team makes the playoffs consistently and stays in a class with the perennial power houses of the current system. Good luck finding my angle although its been stated many times that i believe the current system of small top and bottom class with over saturated middle classes is a terrible look, furthermore 6 even classes would have alot of teams drop to 8 man which i hate. Therefore to provide the best possible equal opportunity for all kids even classes that dont have more than a 2.0 ratio is the best system in my opinion

My only question is how did Carthage move to the largest class when adding a class, but in just 6 classes they are in class 5?
so, there is a few factors to that Carthage was a 1232 enrollment last year and this coming year will be a 1260, the cut for class 6 last year was 1277 so they were on the edge to begin with last year and now with a rise in enrollment vs the other schools' fluctuations this is where they end up by math.

It's watered down enough, as is.

The best improvement is in the 3,4,5 range. The size factor there now is crazy in class 4, which was made worse with the increase of 6, moving teams up. See Pleasant Hill and Savannah. PHill got screwed playing Jeff City, who actually should have been class five. The differential was nearly 2x. Savannah was a solid team. But in C4, they are playing schools almost twice their size.

agree, i mean we can make it great with 10 classes of 30 but thats a joke. Top class still has its disadvantages with a 600 kid spread. I get people and the ratio talk but screw ratios, law of average says there is some extra talent in a pool of 600 kids. I think this is the best we can do unless we eliminate 8 man and look at a possibility of 8 classes but i aint got the numbers or time for that dream work today

I understand why your nickname is rudus the dufus. 6 Classes the current way is ridiculous and unfair, 6 even classes would lose you teams to 8 man, and 5 even classes would lose you even more to 8 man. We have to try and get more participation not less.

I guess Kansas is a joke then. They have six classes from 30 (at least two at 30) up to 42 in each class.

I would prefer this was well. Creates the most balanced ratio between classes.

The only modification I would make is a 3 class cap on private schools. The points could be 3-6-9 or 2-5-8.

Because I don't agree with you? Is this really veer2eternity, or do you just act like a bitch like him?
No dipshit because the current system isn't watered down. Obviously people van disagree with me as that jacktard from Kearney and I disagree on everything but this topic which is weird. If anyone is acting like a bitch it's you.

With the addition of a class there is possibility of an extra bump but I didn't want to get to crazy it's not like I make 6 figures at mshsaa for doing this kind of thing. Although if the jobs open I'm here

It is watered down. You want to water it down more.
YOU get a trophy! And YOU get a trophy! And YOU get a trophy! EVERYBODY gets a trophy!

How is trying to level the playing field watering it down. So bigger Schools can continue to beat their chest and brag how they beat down schools that have half their enrollment?

Increasing the number of classes is watering it down. People have always bitched that the system is unfair. They always will. Particularly the ones not winning.
