Nothing really. His offenses at Texas were nothing to write home about, and his one year at Arkansas State was highly average (7-5).
He didn't build Boise State, but to his credit he's sustained what Peterson built.
He did something this year no other BSU coach has done before - he had an undefeated conference season.
Well he managed to beat Wyoming, which is more than can be said for Mizzou.
Harsin appears to have turned down Mizzou. Hate to hear it.

Why would he leave Boise? Guaranteed 10 wins a year, believe he's an alum, and it's his hometown.
He's on the record that salaries need to rise and they won't budge. Keeps losing good coordinators. Hard to build something when you have to pause and regroup every year.
He's not thought of as irreplaceable out here. If a West Coast gig comes open and he can he'll bolt.

Jay is part of the conversation. Yeah, that's right Jay Norvell from Nevada is under serious consideration.
Sat in on a session with him at the Glazier coaches clinic a few years ago when he was with the Rams. He was hilarious.
The initial list greatly overestimates how good the Missouri job is. The athletic department is in the red and talent wise you will lag behind Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. In state talent is good but not enough to sustain the program. Missouri is a really tough job especially if Tennessee continues to improve and Kentucky continues under Stoops. Fritz is a good coach but I don't know if that will excite the fan base.
1. The school has already stated they will cover finances. 75% of athletic departments operate in the red. Unless you're Texas, Ohio State, or USC you're probably operating at a deficit. That is what it is.
2. We have to start landing some of that in-state talent and it will go a long way towards continued success. That's a large part of the issue, we're not even getting the kids who are available in-state.
3. It won't matter if Kentucky and Tennesse continue to improve as long as Mizzou does at a commiserate rate.
