1: Sikeston score has not posted as of this time on MSHSAA but would be shocker of century if they lost. Farmington hosts and beat the aforementioned in the regular season but I LOVE teams that tripped up early the year prior as Sikeston did in 2024.

2: Webster Groves and Vianney are solid contenders to win it all in C5 and are headed for yet another great one in all likelihood.

3: All four semifinalists have had very solid seasons and I could see any of three (JB, Ladue and Westminster) surviving then heading to CoMo. This will be a true "any given night" dogfight.

4: Roll the dice in this one. None of the four have really had that "signature" win. Pure guess would stay form and say Wentzville Holt wins it.

5: Mid Missouri is strong yet again really like Rolla and JC (who made quite the popular run last year) to collide for this title and gotta go Jays if this does indeed come to pass.

6: Looks like a Springfield collision inbound most likely between Parkview and Central both of whom play solid slates. Pure tossup if that one happens.

7: Looks very Raytown-SCA but both of the underdogs are "any given night" upset material (Grandview and St. Michael). That being said gonna stay form here really like the upmove hosts (SCA was in the C3 title game last year) to win this one.

8: Tonka has really turned it on of late like them pretty heavily now in this one but LP did give them a regular season game so that is one to watch as is the other semi between host Kearney and Pembroke Hill. Like the Raiders in that one (schedule so matters this time of year) but my goodness are they inconsistent.

Playing a small hunch will actually, even though they are the home team tonight, go Grandview upsets SCA. Been over most of tonight's NW region district semis that one seems the most plausible: Very hard to beat a team THRICE in a season plus they played almost back to back in mid-January both double digit SCA wins.

Cannot find any others I would consider a big upset always open to suggestions...................

Sikeston at Farmington one of the top games in MO Monday evening. Several dandies this time of year. I really am, as of today, considering going to Pius instead of KMO for them hosting Benton in the C4 round of 16. That will be some kind of good, too.

I own it when wrong this didn't nearly happen now we get Raytown at SCA yet another Monday super matchup. Does a Raytown-Winnetonka (attended and had a blast at last year's quarterfinal at Tonka) rematch loom next Friday night?

Finals update:

1: Needs no further intro. Winner will be a handful the rest of the way and could win it all.

2: Another needing no intro. THIS winner could take the whole thing, too.

3: JB-Westminster the East side hits just keep coming. Two more stout contenders in essentially another tossup.

4: Form has held and I "think" it will again Monday.

5: No JC run to CoMo this year thanks to a real sleeper out there HELIAS CATHOLIC who has quietly turned it on after a slow start. This is a dangerous one for favorite Rolla.

6: Did Webb just pave the road (a term I love in playoffs as the FB contingent here know all too well) for my favorite Parkview to take this one?

7: Raytown-SCA will indeed happen and I still like the hosts especially after taking down another quietly improving Grandview by double digits for a third time this season.

8: Tonka and Pem Hill (my wee little upset pick) rolled last night. This should be an absolute dandy right up the street.

Looking at the C4 bracket I'd say Potosi looks good to face Clayton in the quarters next Friday night. Very wild they only lost to one team (Farmington also beat Sikeston, the preseason C5 favorite, in the reg season) all year.

We can revisit this should form hold and this quarter happen.................
