but...but...but...look how much damage he would of done in less than a minute with a knife or a hammer or...people can kill 9 and injure 20 people with numerous kitchen utensils in under a minute. It's not just AR's with huge clips. but even commenting on it is a waste of time. This was proven after Sandy Hook. Don't murder unborn babies just 5th and 6th graders. Where was the uproar. The 11 fake arguments against sensible gun control
The Silver Bullet: “X will solve less than 100 percent of the problem. So therefore X isn’t worth doing at all, unlike how we handle every other problem in the world.”
The “Well, But”: “Well, but other things cause bad things, too. So, despite the fact that we do act against those other bad things, we can’t act here on this one bad thing.”
The Reverse Politicize: “How dare you ‘politicize’ a political issue?”
The Double Down: “The problem isn’t X, but not enough of X, despite the fact that I oppose X.”
The Delay: “Now isn’t the time to talk about this issue that happens on a regular basis.”
The Deflect: “The real problem is X [video games, mental illness, etc.], despite the fact that every other nation in the world has X, but doesn’t have regular mass killings.”
The Distract: Propose absurd, unworkable idea, one that’s never been done before, as the perfect solution in hopes of people getting sucked into an argument on that instead of discussing proven remedies that have worked in multiple other nations.
The Ahistorical Historian: “While the Constitution didn’t actually say X, the Founding Fathers put X in the Constitution.”
The Specifist: “Actually, that’s not technically an ‘assault rifle,’ but an X57 gas-fired carbine with 30 round magazine, a bump stock, and fire suppressor. So, while I have just identified things in specific to ban, we can’t ban them.”
The Suppress: Any research into solutions of the problem must be actively prevented. (Note: Only available to members of Congress.)
The Ghost: See @NRA feed after every mass killing.

Not worth it...Is that considered an "assault weapon"? Should we ban that gun too? Which weapons would you allow?
Why do you always ignore the part about high capacity magazines? How many deer are you allowed to shoot on a tag? How many shots do you actually get when you can see the deer you're shooting at?Is that considered an "assault weapon"? Should we ban that gun too? Which weapons would you allow?
I'm not ignoring them. The .223 hasn't been considered an "assault rifle" though so I ask the question. Why do you always ignore the part about high capacity magazines? How many deer are you allowed to shoot on a tag? How many shots do you actually get when you can see the deer you're shooting at?
I would have to agree with one of the other posters. If someone shoots 30 people in less than a minute, I would say there has been an assault. Your callousness toward the value of human life is alarming and attempting to distract from repeated tragedies with gun labeling discussion is barbaric.
At least you acknowledge it isn't about scary guns but about all guns. Kudos for being honest.I would have to agree with one of the other posters. You got kudos from Miller. Now you can sleep better at night. That's a really big deal.At least you acknowledge it isn't about scary guns but about all guns. Kudos for being honest.
I have pretty much always been about the high capacity clips being the problem but the guns with high velocity stuff makes the carnage much worse. The dude ordered his stuff from Texas and it was shipped to him. Apparently it has not been banned.I'm not ignoring them. I thought we banned high capacity clips.
