Serious reply is seriously appreciated.

I'll agree with them. They hype their fish, but IMO their burgers are where it's at. Along with the jalapeno hush puppies.

Or depending on what direction you are coming in, you could swing through Golden City and eat at Cookys. Little cafe that's been around forever. Everything is excellent, and people come from all over for the pie.

There's also an antique tractor auction in town that day where I'm pretty sure 4H/FFA(?) is selling pulled pork lunches. Would be a neat place to kill some time.

And finally some school organization typically has a tailgate prior to the game where $5 will get you some sort of sandwich or loaded potato with sides and a drink.

That about covers it....

Gates probably open at 11:30 will probably be lines forming around 11.

Just heard gates will be opening at 11.

Cooky's Cafe is good.

An old story that I have heard several times about the Original owner. His menu did not have prices on the menu. His son received a speeding ticket from a highway patrolman. One day the highway patrolman stopped in to eat and when he received his ticket for the meal it was the same price as his son's speeding ticket.

No the Blue Top is no longer open. It closed several years ago and a Quilt Shop is open in the Blue Top building. Yes I said a Quilt Shop. The Blue Top was a good place to eat.
