Looks like KOAM has put this years previews online. Man has this thing gone downhill over the past few years.

At this point here is my rough guess on how I'd group the COC:

Teams that could go undefeated:
Joplin/Nixa

Could win 7 or maybe 8 games:
Webb City

Could win 4-6 games:
Republic/Carthage/Neosho/Carl Junction

Likely to fewer than 4:
Ozark/Willard/Branson

A record of 4-5 would be a success for CJ. That would probably be good enough for a 1 or 2 seed in a class 4 district.

Jacob Lenard was doing sports by himself for a fee months, and then took a job at Pitt State. He was replaced at KOAM by a kid straight out of college. So it doesn't surprise me that it really went downhill this year. Actually surprised they got anything done this year.

I definitely preferred the printed book, instead of just on-line. But I'm old-fashoned and old!

Me too. KOAM like pretty much all local media is owned by a distant media corp and has been hollowed out. I was actually a little surprised they got it out at all as well with the new 19 year old at the helm. I used to love going to pick up the magazine at the gas station and browsing it on and off for a few days.

They list the district each team is in but that hasn't been released yet.

I've been impressed with the improvement of NXT Level media trying to take the local coverage to the next level.

It's a bit odd they don't cover CJ, though.
I noticed that as well, Neosho is another I do not see them cover much. So far most of their coverage is on Webb City and Carthage. They did a podcast with McFarland the other night but it was difficult to hear due to being outdoors.

I have heard the school has to pay them or cooperate in some other way to get coverage. I work with a guy who said they stole his pictures without permission.

just now watched a nxt level interview with the Neosho QB

The Joplin Glob put out their football tab today. It's tiny. They usually list rosters with heights/weights - not this year. Cheap,

Yeah I messaged them during the spring because they covered Seneca like 1 or 2 times and they said sponsors pay for them to cover schools.
