Kelly vs East Carter County

Went to see East Carter County vs Kelly Friday afternoon at ECC. Kelly looked young but they knew how to play the game. Kelly threw a freshman pitcher who threw and hit very well. The umpire said her last name was Dock and that she had an older sister that pitched for Kelly a few years ago. East Carter's pitcher that took them to the final four last year didn't pitch. Evidently she tore her ACL and is out for the year. Real bad news for ECC. Final score was Kelly 12, East Carter 3.

She tore here ACL and meniscus the last night of the Van Buren basketball summer league. Non contact injury, just turned it wrong and down she went. Took ECC's best pitcher and biggest bat out of the lineup.
