Kearney v Tonka

At this point you have to say toss up. Grandview and Ray South are better than Harrisonville, but not by much. But Tonka barely got by Grandview. I wouldn't be surprised if Tonka wins. Shot in the dark: K by 7.

Tonka gives KMO allll they can handle..... BUT KMO comes out on top 23-20. For what it's worth I want Tonka to win and hope they do.

I like Winnetonkas colors better so I want them to win and I think they will.
Gotta do what Diane on Cheers did to win the weekly football pool.................and drive Sam Mayday Malone nuts: pick by nicknames i.e. which would win a fight (Lion would maul a Buccaneer for instance).

Is a Griffin a real thing? Bulldogs are real man!

As close as you can get to a regular high school season "must win game" for K town.
B-b-b-b-benny and the Jets................most KTown folks will probably be at the Jesse James festival.

Crowd thinned at half...that was a game they really needed, a few banged up kids on O - no Stevens, but Laughlin had a good game, staff finally got the ball to the Soph - Arellano [his first touches of the season - where he can be an impact player, JOEY - rather than special team coverage and a few D snaps.]

Stevens worries me. He sure didn't look right last week. I saw some of this game on youtube. Looked like K finally commited to physical, up the gut running. That will serve well the next couple of weeks but I still think Grain Valley (who led Platte County all night but lost by a single point 18-17) is going to be a tough one as will Smithville.

The Dawgs, and Gray, needed this one, and BAD! Good for them. Might just get them going.

We shall see. I will buy in IF they beat Grain Valley and Smithville. Those will both be very tough matchups. I do agree they HAD to have this one..............

Haven't heard that it's anything serious, but he probably shouldn't have played last week. The RT, who's probably been their most consistent OL, really looked hobbled. Agreed - those two games should be good tests. Tonka shot themselves in the foot several times with low/dropped snaps.

Benny is doing a great job but they just didn't seem up to the task at hand. I guess schedule does really matter................:)

Tonka is a TOUGH place to coach, even a harder place to win.
I have lots of lifelong ties to that school so ALWAYS pull for them. Here's hoping Benny can bring them back to where they were earlier this decade...............
