Somehow 2-3 plays and a FG attempt only ran 7 seconds off the clock. Hmmmmm.

The stream lost sound for a few seconds, I’ll never know if the comet fans booed or not after the FG

Big passing TD for Marionville

After the reception the Comet WR does a combination headbutt/chest bump to the DB after the play is over, 2 refs standing 7 yards away watching and no flag

..or maybe during unsportsmanlike conduct practice.
well i was just talking to Mullet about that. Their schedule cost them . Part of your job is to teach your kids how to deal with adversity. Springfield Central ain't getting it done.

Also, did their QB carry the ball in the 2nd half? He was killing adrian in the first. I was scared to death they'd go empty set and just let him go. Great player. Coaches kid and you can tell.

Their schedule actually stepped up. AG, Pierce City, Stockton, even Sarcoxie and Miller were tough outs this year.

I agree, what cost the Comets was a lack of discipline.

Lack of discipline? How dare you. Just listen to the fans in blue at the game tonight and you will know what a fine example they set for these young men.

Would've been the third Personal Foul on that player if they'd have called it. Oh well

Adrian QB jogs into the endzone untouched, gets two yards deep into the endzone and gets blasted by a Marionville defender.

That’s personal foul #2 for Marionville in the first half alone.
Ford up the middle and stopped at the 1

14-0 Adrian with 4:59 left in 2Q
I got a good picture of that

Marionville could have easily had 5-6 personal fouls with all the late hits and the taunting BS if the refs weren’t being so forgiving.
From watching film from earlier in the season, it appeared there was zero consequence for players getting those types of penalties in other games.

Again, that stuff comes back to bite you. Leave a kid in a game for doing stuff, they think it's ok.

Like a wise old coach once told me, ' they're either doing it the way you coached it or they're doing whatever the hell they want to do'

Not sure how you can have a defensive PI when the ball is not only tipped, but thrown out of bounds. The Adrian coaches weren’t even yelling for a flag. It was 4th and 12 when that call was made. That call led to Adrian’s second TD.

Trade you for the 'grounder' mville had ruled as a catch that led to their first score.

Officiating was solid. I think the interference was when the camera wasn't panned that way.
I mean Adrian could throw a fit about one of the WR holding the crap out of our DBs about every play but why? The kids got to play physical and the best team won even when they didn't play a good game.
