Blue Springs South is down so far in 2023. Oak Park is 100,000 percent untested but should be an excellent defensive challenge for GV who is giving up a lot so far but, again, predicated on who they've played. FWIW I like the Northmen pretty solidly in this one.

Conversely, I think Grandview runs the table until they get to the last two weeks against Kearney and Smithville. That might be a benefit for them come playoff time.

Grandview could well be the favorite in C4 D7. Could come down to them and Nevada for that quarterfinal berth. Harrisonville and Carl Junction would be the two "sleepers".

I think that Grain Valley vs Oak Park game should be a good one! GV is definitely more battle tested so far this season but OP had a lot of young speed on that team I saw against Fort last season.

Marriott and this young PC offense are coming along fast. Going to be very interesting to see how they fare Week 4 hosting Grain Valley. That one, by all accounts, could be 40+ a side like the Eagles' opener vs. Fort O.

500 yards against SV was a great start. Honestly, they didn't look that good week 1. But when your opponent turns the ball over 5 times, 2 times in the red zone, you start to look a lot better.

Kearney hasn’t lost in over a decade. Mustard on the lettuce, lack of mothers in the stands. Pretty much anything else you can think of is why they lost. It’s complete crap really.

That kinda thing makes track times not even matter.
