Chick-Fil-A at Ward Parkway and Mission is proud to present the KAMO Hoops 17th annual summer high school boys basketball shootout on June 7th , 8th and 9th. Last year’s Shootout has its largest field ever; over 100 teams, and we except even more teams this year. We play at great high school facilities including Shawnee Mission Northwest High School, Shawnee Mission South High School, Shawnee Mission North High School, Shawnee Mission West High School and Shawnee Mission East High School. Last years field features 30 teams that made the state playoffs and 15 of those were state placers finishing in the top four in their state. This is the greatest high school team camp in the Midwest. The camp features some of the best local teams from both sides of the state line (Park Hill, Lee’s Summit North , Blue Valley North, Olathe East, Blue Valley Northwest, Shawnee Mission East, Lawrence, LS West, Eudora, Topeka Hayden for example). Also there are many teams from outside of our area teams that have had great success at the state level including Bolivar (MO), Ozark (MO), Springfield Kickapoo (MO), Iowa City West (IA) and Lincoln SE (Nebraska). We have a level for every team including Varsity, Small Varsity, JV, and Freshmen. We are pleased to have John Dehan-(our league commissioner) again as our assigner of officials. We understand that you have lots of options for team camps. This is our 17th year of hosting this team camp and we strive for one goal--to allow you to do what you guys do BEST--coach your team. You do not have to concern yourself with scorekeepers or a clock operator. We will sort your T-shirts for you. We will give each coach a great Under Armour polo or shirt. We want you to have a great experience and we strive to make it as positive as possible for each team. You just have to coach your team. I have attached a flyer and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call my cell. We guarantee your teams 6 games with the possibility of playing 9 or 10. Again, we have great facilities and all of games are refereed by certified officials. We have a great hotel deal and a fantastic social where we can relax and share ideas. Each team also get free Chick-Fil-A gift cards to be used for meals that weekend. Finally, we have Shot-Tracker technology in our gym and we are currently trying to have the first High School event ever to use this technology. This event is truly second to none. We look forward to seeing your teams this summer.
