That is rewriting history, Trump had orderly plan(DOHA AGREEMENT) and wanted to leave completely but the Pentagon/Military said that was not doable so he followed their advice and left 2,500 troops there to keep the place in Order per the Pentagon/ Military's plan.
Biden ordered a Complete withdrawal against the Pentagon/Military advice and we saw what happened.
Why do you feel the need to cover up Biden's incompetence with lies and blame Trump? This timeline is easily researchable and open sourced.

The only thing Biden did was delay the withdrawal from the original May 1st date he inherited from Trump, to Augs 31st.
It was Trump that negotiated the withdrawal agreement with the Taliban that excluded the Afghan government and freed 5,000 imprisoned Taliban soldiers and again set the date of May 1, 2021 as the final withdrawal
So all Biden did was delay the may 1 withdrawal date he inherited and was negotiated by Trump, and on April 18th Trump said we can and should get out earlier when Biden tried to extend the withdrawal deadline until Sept 11th.
Biden says he “inherited a diplomatic agreement” between the U.S. and the Taliban that all U.S. forces would be out by May 1. “It is perhaps not what I would have negotiated myself, but it was an agreement made by the United States government, and that means something,” Biden says, adding that final troop withdrawal would begin on May 1.
“We will not conduct a hasty rush to the exit,” Biden says. “We’ll do it responsibly, deliberately, and safely.” Biden assures Americans that the U.S. has “trained and equipped a standing force of over 300,000 Afghan personnel” and that “they’ll continue to fight valiantly, on behalf of the Afghans, at great cost.”

Their own army that we gave LOTS of good equipment and training laid down their arms and gave up. I guess they didn't much care what would happen to them and their families. and their pledge to us didn't mean much.

Did you read what the advisor said...... the Taliban didn't meet the Stipulations and Conditions...... so you don't withdraw. The withdrawal should of been condition based. Yes Trump negotiated the deal and the Stipulations and Conditions and he wanted out but he agreed to Leave Troops in once the Pentagon and Military told him it was necessary. Biden ignored all that.... and got out in a Rush.
Biden has to own this he was Commander and Chief he could of even broke the DOHA agreement and forged his own if it was a Trump Mess.

The Army laid down because they lost Air Power and Air Supply power after the U.S. withdrawal and the hasty withdrawal caused mistrust and low moral among the rank and file Afghan Army.
The Afghan army was deployed piecemeal around the nation in area's controlled by the Taliban and often had to be supplied from the Air. Even first world Armies collapse when their supply chain is cut off Look at the British Army in 1942 in Singapore.
Moral was destroyed because Tribal Elders controlled by the Taliban Told the soliders that the infidels where leaving and if they didn't join them they could fight them and their family's would die. Once the Afghan govt leaders started to flee to Germany and abroad of course the rank and file developed mistrust for their Govt and ours and quit.
Leaving was a good thing but you don't flee unless your adversary follows the guidelines you have established for withdrawal.
When would the have been, we were there way to long any way you look at it. You would never have been able to think the Taliban would live up to any agreement after we left no matter when that was.
I don't disagree with your analysis I agree with many points on principle ... but once we committed to going and then staying a small force of 2,500 to keep what we had gained is a very very small commitment. We have over a 100 military bases around the world with troops on all four corners that would of been nothing on the grand scale. Now the Taliban will again start training terrorist's and do what they have always done and one day they will strike here. It is there goal.
We can see them with satellites and send in the drones, they won't last long.
