Joplin/Webb Who Ya Got???

As I've been thinking about this game I can't help but believe Joplin has the horsepower to compete, maybe even win the game. The edge Webb City has is experience playing and winning big games. Joplin won a couple good ones last year when the OC was on the line but can they keep cool under pressure and can they stay focused and hold on if they find themselves with a slight lead over the mighty cardinals?

Yeah I have to agree with you, I think Joplin has the pieces to push Webb. But in a tight game can they keep their cool. Plus I don't know alot about Jasper, I know in a tight game J-Rod can come thru.

First half will be close, second half Webb will do what Webb does and put it away with enough time left to give the JV some work. No chest bumping from the Joplin coaches after halftime.

I question if the speed of WC's defense can keep up with the Speed of Joplin's offense.
Joplin 42-28
Big night in the passing game for Joplin

I like the way you think tigerfanatic, although you are probably a Webb fan posing to try an fire up the boys "like John R needs help"

Joplin will have to outscore WC. I think WC will run the ball effectively and not punt but once. Can Joplin match that? We shall see. I am guessing no.

I just about choked, and laughed out loud. No, they can't match that with a shaky passing attack.
Agree with you, plus turnovers too. Joplin will fumble it away at least twice tonight and probably throw 2 or more picks.

I like Joplin - I think they are heading in a good direction. But Webb City plays defense far better than any Ozark Conference team.

Give me a score similar to last week. Webb City 42, Joplin 14.

Nope, Carthage graduate, Carthage resident, Carthage fan.
I think this is a serious threat to the cardinals, and I think their speed on the back end with #15 and Gaskill is exploitable.
