Joe claimed on the Fox game of the week that there a Cardinal players who do not think that Oscar works hard enough at his craft If true I would say then Yadi or somebody on that team takes him to the woodshed and explains to him how it is going to be! If that doesn't work then trading Craig instead of Oscar will come back to haunt MO. I hope they both thrive from this point on accept next week when the Sox come to town!

Bringing a young guy up and then not playing him regularly is probably tough to handle when you are use to being a star. Maybe regular work will change some attitudes.

A couple guys my son plays softball with are friends with David Freese. They said he told them that even last year when Craig would go thru a mini slump, the coaches would try to help him and he would flat out tell them "I'm not changing anything." There may have secretly been some frustration between him and the coaching staff.

Gotta believe something was up. If Rosie can do his job Masterson will have his 1st win as a Bird. He didn't pitch well, but a win is a win!!

This is the sort of thing I was getting at in my earlier comments about the trade. I have no knowledge of anything, I just think part of the reason they might have traded Craig is that the reports from the coaches and/or medical staff were not favorable
