Less than 24 hours after Harper’s Magazine published an open letter defending free speech and condemning Cancel Culture, two of the dozens upon dozens of academics, writers, and artists who originally signed the letter have distanced themselves from it, and one has apologized.

I'm unironically not surprised you think this a new subject.

Since Gutchfield comes on TV when you say, by the time he reported it was yesterday's old news.

The cancel culture has been discussed for 5 or 6 years now but it has recently accelerated.

No longer do you have to be a prominent public figure to be canceled. It is affecting common everyday people.

Not a single Trump voter signed the letter that basically said we don't like cancel culture. I find myself supporting Mathew Iglesias at Vox. Funny stuff.
