The high in Joplin friday is supposed to be 90 so we're probably looking at mid or upper 80s for jamboree time which is hot but not abnormal for this time of year.

It does however look like we could be pushing 100 for the first game next week though. I do sometimes wonder how they play football early and even midway into the season down in Alabama and Florida where the temps routinely hover in the upper 80s and 90s with a dewpoint of 78.

Acclimitization and lots of H2O breaks. It will be close next week. Major heat dome should start breaking down Thursday. The payback, though, could be T-Storms Friday just too early to tell.
