And 2,413 Americans have died from covid so far today. We doin so good.

Over 125,000 Americans dead. What a wonderful proactive, disinfectant injecting Stable genius we have. Great leader.

People still have to take care of yourself. If a room is full of people not practicing social distancing and not wearing masks, Don't go in there. You do have to use your own smarts if you have any.

Great example of the brilliant “deregulation” that had taken place in the Trump administration that Magas always sight as being so wonderful. The long-term damage of this idiot being in charge won’t be known for years.

June 9 was the last day it has been over 1000. There were 43,000 new cases Saturday but 512 deaths reported. There have been over 400,000 tests a day the last several days..

4% of the worlds population and 25% of the worlds covid-19 deaths. Keep trying to spin it, Doctor.

I just gave you facts. You were posting a flat out lie. It is bad but it isn’t the Spanish Flu.

you are correct I found my source and I looked at the wrong column for the 2,413.
Not accurate for June 28, 2020. The 125,000 and 4/25 is accurate, however.

Yeah just watched the news this morning and they say while case count is rising, hospitalization and the death count is not. Now they said there could be a lag in those numbers as it could take time for those getting sick to get bad, or it could be a sign we are learning how to treat it better, or that it is burning itself out. They said only time will tell as we still know very little about it.

The death count is terrible. But like 3R has pointed out numerous times, people aren’t considering the long term health issues of those who “recovered”.

We're 4 months into this thing, no summer slow down, and the outlook is not good for next winter if we don't come up with a vaccine soon.

No one lives forever, the history of the world is suffering and death. The last 40 years of relative peace and prosperity have inoculated us from that fact and made us feel as though we were above the natural order.

This isn't an extinction event. Some people will die of covid, some people will be irreparably altered by it, but the species will survive. It sucks, but in the grand scheme of things it's not that big a deal.

The media fear campaign is making a mountain out of a molehill.

I don't disagree there is still a lot of unknown about the long term affects. But again we are 4-6 months into this, we will not know anything for years.

I don't want it, I don't want any of my family to get it, but that is not realistic now is it. It is out there now and it is spreading sure we can do things to help prevent it, and it is working I read that the infection rate is around 1 which they say has alot to do with our safe guards we have in place.

I was hoping once summer got here we would see a slow down as we reopened, however I did fear that we might instead see an increase instead. I see now that we have seen a slight up tick, but I hope that because of that people become more vigilant again. I think alot of people let their guard down in the beginning.

When you barricade yourself inside for 3 months and smell nothing but Lysol and bleach and finally come out for fresh air, you’re going to get sick. It’s just a fact.

Covid attacks harder against the immunly weak. How do you build your immune system? Get out and expose yourself to germs and viruses. Eat a healthy diet. McDonalds doesn’t fall into that category. Neither does a 44oz Diet Coke from QuickTrip.

We clearly have had a slowdown in terms of the death rate. If you look the curve there were over 1000-1500 deaths a day and now it is closer to 500 despite an uptick in cases largely due to testing. This is what flattening the curve looks like. I’m not saying it is a great thing but just over a month ago the number of revovered vs died among those confirmed with covid was about 2-1. Now it is about 9-1. Like it or not this is herd immunity in practice. Protect the high risk members as best you can and eventually it is going to burn itself out in the healthy population.

LOL did you read my other post, I basically said the same thing. We will know more in about two weeks if hospitalization don't increase along with deaths. Once it started hitting New York it took about two to three weeks before we saw those increase. I hope this time we don't see a large increase in both.

Protests not memorial day caused the uptick. Not the re-opening.Warm weather makes people go inside in the AC.
NY got killed. The Red States with the same pop, 3-4K deaths. Testing was not up to par in NY or they would have only 30K dead.

You are one sick person. Just go away.

Fortunately, living in the country hasn't caused many people to lock themselves in the basement for 3 months. Nice catch phrase though.

High school sports can start competing this week. Our local HS teams have 6 games scheduled for softball and baseball, playing 3 team round robins.

You now how biased and ridiculous the Lincoln project is?

They have 1.1 million followers on twitter and can’t even get verified. Bahahahahahahaha
No but , they are repubs that can't stand fat donnie, so get over it. I'll gladly take 1.1 million repub votes against him. Hahahahahahahaha

Over 600,000 tests done today. 44,000 new cases but about 350 deaths. Still a significant number of course but trending in right direction.

The greatest generation (WW2 era) are mostly dead already but the ones I know think hiding from an illness is the opposite of what they did. My 84 yr old mom thinks it is the dumbest thing our country has ever done.
Yet disgusting duck borrows the valor of WW2 to push a narrative. We won't mention 44 who didn't have time to honor their sacrifice.
It was just yesterday at the SOTU address was attended by a tusk airmen and old Pelosi ripped it up. So much BS.
