CBC vs Joplin was 56-21. That CBC team team was the best Missouri High School team this century. No shame in that + it helped Isaiah be the great back he is today.
He would have been that good even if he didn’t play CBC or any of your precious privates from East St. Louis.
A few are playing, but I think defense, Mekhi Wingo and Jonathon Owen’s I know played at cbc and DeSmet. Maybe Jameison Williams, but he might have been Ritter or Trinity (im not looking it up)
He was a hell of a player . Really good kid too . I thought he wasnt fast enough to make it to the NFL but here he is. Nobody will outwork that kid . Don't think he will ever be a star but he was great on defense too in hs and runs good enough . He could be a long time NFL special team player . Reminds me a bit of Carson Steele for KC
Actually they lost to CBC in the semifinals in 2018. 2019 they lost to Desmet in the State Championship 35 - 20. Joplin had the lead 20 - 14 up until the 4th Quarter. Desmet scored on a drive early in the 4th to take the lead 21 - 20. Davis fumbled one and Tash threw a pick on their next 2 possessions. Desmet capitalized on both TOs.
Listened to that game. Felt so bad for those players. Coaches completely threw the gamplan out the window in the 4th and lost it.
