So apparently the SR campaign manager of Pete Buttigieg is married to the CEO of the firm that created the app for polling results last night in Iowa.
Also, he has donated money to the firm.

I would bet money that is exactly what happened. We will find out Sanders won, and Biden turned out very low. The party can't have that.
Between this and the acquittal, the State of the Union will be must-see tv tonight.

It wasn’t that many years ago when the Republican Party named Romney the winner of the Iowa Caucus only to declare Santorum the actual winner two weeks later.
That was the second thing I thought of while comparing the present time with the past. But this is a fact nonetheless. In the case of Santorum, the lack of momentum caused by the delay did not help him.
In the case of the 2008 Democratic Iowa Caucus, Obama made a timely speech. He was President for 8 years. Santorum is an afterthought.
If you're trying to downplay the significance of this screw up based on the Santorum Caucus it is fair, but from the reactions of the DNC media it is a much bigger deal now. The Democrats want to run every aspect of American life, and they can't run a simple caucus. Not only this, they have called half of America stupid and literally demonized fly over people. They can't keep the lights on in California or keep the streets safe. When I think of it those facts, it's a ridiculous comparison.

That was a razor thin contest. It wasn’t like they didn’t release results as the night went on and refused to release polls. There are forces lining up to screw Bernie again and his people know it.
How are they trying to screw Bernie when they say he's right in the mix as of the current count, whatever that is? You pubs claiming the left wing nuts have taken over the the party should take notice that the current results show the moderate candidates in Iowa have about 55% percent of the vote compared to about 45% for the far lefties.
Maybe THIS the thang that will get rid of the ridiculous caucus system used in Iowa that should be scrapped for a real voting system where you can go to the polls and cast your vote without gathering in some cafeteria or gym and argue with a bunch people about how you should vote.

If they want to change the order up ok. But don't blame Iowa. Blame Tom Perez.
If they didn't have the goofy caucus as a way to pick their choice for nominee and not try a new app that crashed and burned it would not be an issue. People would have gone to the polls and cast their private ballot at what ever time they chose over a about a 12 hour period and it would have been recorded very easily that night.
Silicon Valley Liberals are supposed to be smart. Trust them, they know. Our government is extremely competent and efficient. The Bureaucrats that we don't elect are all touched by angels. They got this.
NO NO NO! If it was a normal priory the votes would have been put in a machine and recorded very quickly and have a backup trail to prove it. The caucus system should be outlawed just because it doesn't allow everybody the chance to vote like a normal person and not have to go set in on a argument session for hours and is only available 3 or 4 hours one night. On a regular voting day people have 12 or 13 hours to get to the polls and vote or they can vote absentee if they can't be there on voting day. A caucus is VERY discriminating to most voters.
How do you know this? Is this a biased opinion or a fact that can be proven? Secondhand information/hearsay or is there someone(s) who can verify but not allowed to do so?

Combination of the suppressed poll and inability to count votes and release in a timely manner. Bernie is probably still going to win...barely...but the story is that Biden lost.
Not really it was predicted all along that he wouldn't have a good showing in Iowa and probably not in NH either. He's for sure the person trump doesn't want to run against.
This would not have been an issue if the Iowa Democrats decided to do what the Republicans in South Carolina, Kansas, Nevada and Arizona, and just not have one.

I was actually making a comparison to Iowa and the impeachment “trial” in the Senate. Seems to me opinions only matter when you’re in the majority. Otherwise, you’re on the ledge , breathing rapidly, with evidence.
He probably got you mixed up with miller. miller's the one that makes a big deal about not wanting opinions or actual critical thinking.
How many times on election night are we held hostage by the inner city vote (Dem run precincts) in "regular" voting? The rest of the country can count votes in a timely manner no matter the voting method.
170,000 voters in Iowa. Total disaster. Turn over the health care to the Government.
