but Republicans were told last night that in a break from normal procedure that no Republican will be allowed to ask questions, and only one Republican staff member will be allowed to attend.

Normally each member Dem and Republican alike get a 5 minute period to ask questions

Kind of makes you wonder what pencil neck is up to

I don't have to wonder. Anytime "pencil neck" is involved, it is shady at best and corrupt generally.

I can’t wait until the impeachment trial in the Senate, and Trumps legal team put Obama, Biden, Clinton, Clapper, Comey, Holder, Lynch, McCabe, Strock under oath on the witness stand and start grilling them , talk about Reality TV at its best.

Won't happen.

Won't happen.
The Senate sets the rules for the trial. The Democrats in the House are running the impeachment phase. The Republicans in the Senate set the rules for the trial,,,,since the charges are concerning Trump asking for investigation of actions taken by Biden when he was Vice President I have a feeling that Mitch will give Trumps lawyers wide latitude in calling witnesses to prove there was justification for his actions.

The Senate can run the trial however they want, there is no direction set forth in the Constitution. I would think the President will be given every opportunity by the Republicans in charge of the Senate to defend himself from Partisan charges by the Socialists

The Chief Justice presides over the trial but he follows the rules as set forth for the proceedings by the leadership. I can’t imagine Trumps legal team being denied examination of witnesses to defend the President of the United States whom being duly elected is facing removal from office
