Hannibal looks good to me. All these all-conference players coming back. Prolly unstopabble.

FIRST TEAM OFFENSE–

RB-Aneyas Williams, Hannibal Jr. (All world)
OL-Xxavion Washington, Hannibal Jr.
OL-Ryan Ross, Hannibal Jr.
OL-Noah Young, Hannibal Jr.
TE-Kane Wilson, Hannibal Jr.
–FIRST TEAM DEFENSE–
DL-Kane Wilson, Hannibal Jr.
DL-Trenton Cowden, Hannibal Jr.
DB-Aneyas Williams, Hannibal Jr. (All-World)
–SECOND TEAM OFFENSE–
QB-Waylon Anders, Hannibal So.
–SECOND TEAM DEFENSE–
LB-Owen Andrews, Hannibal Jr.

I second this. This is Hannibal chance to win it all. Aneyas Senior Year and a lot of good talent on both sides of the ball. That Daughtery kid who came up big in the districts gonna play a big factor on the defensive side of the ball!!!

I'd probably have a different feeling about it, if it was just Aneyas and a sparse handful of good returning players here and there. But to have three OL coming back, and just have that level of performers back in those numbers, it is like Kearney in the KC metro. Coming back with a ton of talent on the board. A lot of college prospects.

Looks impressive but don't count out the next STL private move up Cardinal Ritter.

Looks like early season at Helias Catholic to open and hosting Troy Buchanan Week 3 will be your measuring stick games. Doubt any of the others are close this regular season.

Have to see where classes fall out but, as of today, I like three teams to strongly contend for the C4 title: Hannibal, Ritter and Kearney with Smithville a dangerous longshot come November. Not really finding anyone else (Rockwood Summit perhaps? unless they move to C5).............

Going with mcdonald county as the sleeper.

Would have been interesting to see a WP/Hannibal QF this year, though I think Hannibal would have been favored by 2-3 TDs but probably isn’t going to happen with everything I hear about WP being a very probable bump to Class 5

So it is pretty much a forgone conclusion that West Plains is moving up a class, right?

All the projections I’ve seen on here, and anyone who I’ve talked to in person who’s been looking at everything has said the same thing, WP is bumping more than likely, they won’t be the smallest school in Class 5 but they’d be close.
Funny thing is, with the two possible districts I’ve picked out, they will probably have a pretty solid chance at making the playoffs. And definitely to the district title game at the least in either scenario.

Hannibal all the way in 2023. I know Cardinal Ritter be in 4 but would either Lutheran North or Lutheran St Charles be in 4 also. Depends how the classes format shapes up i still see a chance that one or both teams be in 4 this year!!!

Btw How many burner accounts does Joey have?

It is all a mystery cannot believe they are making everyone wait until kickoff day to find out! As for Joey I "think" it is 3 and counting...............

Pure speculation depends on how MSHSAA breaks the privates but neither even won their C3 district last year.

Don't write off either Kearney or Smithville. I like the former especially offensively a LOT this fall and the latter will evolve yet again as the season does and be dangerous come playoff time mark it down.

If they do happen to go to class 5, I would have my suspicions they may get bumped to the east side of the state during the districts.

If Holt drops to class 4 how will they enter into the mix in 4?

Lutheran St. Charles will be Class 4 for sure with their 1-class bump. Lutheran North, as long they turned in a number above 180 (believe they did) will be Class 4 as well. Class 2 raw number and a 2-class bump. There was a lot of talk about St. Mary's staying Class 4 despite a 2-class bump. I think their enrollment took a pretty big hit and would drop them to Class 2 raw number...then up 2 to Class 4.

Cardinal Ritter will be a heavy favorite in Class 4. They got two more East St. Louis transfers that will no doubt be eligible right away. Hilarious. That makes 5 or 6 total ESL transfers (Boyd brothers, Clayborne, and these two). I doubt very much any of them moved across the river. They also have their junior RB back that missed all of last season due to undisclosed reasons. He will help them immensely. Comical what is happening in the STL area and MSHSAA can't/won't do anything to slow it down.

I agree. My two most feasible scenarios would be something like this:

Rolla, Camdenton, Waynesville, Glendale, Parkview, Central, West Plains

Or

Jackson, Sikeston, Poplar Bluff, Cape Central, West Plains, etc

Idk how many districts there will be so idk how many teams will be assigned to each, but this is just a rough guess.

With all his contacts, I’m sure Joel wouldn’t mind the Z being sent down to SEMO

The private school boutique team. End this nonsense now.

Again, the most annoying thing is the gathering of transfers in this manner. I completely understand the CBCs, Rocks, Helias' of the world. They bring them in, get them enrolled in 9th grade. But to cherry pick and recruit specific players for specific roles and positions of need. Frankly, is a disgrace to high school football and should be stopped. I love to lobby MSHSAA to stop this type of activity.
