I-70

touchdownsilly - I think theoretically a larger school could have an 8-man schedule. They just couldn’t be in the MSHSAA postseason as it is set up now.
Correct. I think Steelville has been doing that for a while.

10 year enrollment change in I-70
Concordia 168-121
Crest Ridge 216-168
Lone Jack 183-203
Orrick 134-98
Santa Fe 137-101
St. Paul 179-162
Sweet Springs 145-137
Wellington 156-112
Second column is projected 4 year enrollments based on this years numbers. St. Paul is adjusted without the 1.35 multiplier.

Sad kids just not wanting to play football like they did back in the day.
Not sure, some of it I am sure is the kids, but the other part is the parents too. Man kids would rather stay in and play video games instead of being outside playing ball of any type or even (heaven forbid) work. lol

Maybe if their lazy parents were better role models they would have turned out differently.
This area has great parents. The decrease in enrollment comes from small farms being eaten by larger farms and, this being a strong Lutheran area, the Lutheran families are not as big as they used to be.

MSHSAA is using 3 years (grades 9-11) of enrollment, not 4. 2019-20 enrollments for the schools you mentioned:
Concordia, 88
Crest Ridge, 130
Lone Jack, 165
Orrick, 69
Santa Fe, 76
Sweet Springs, 109 (doesn't include Malta Bend, which is 19; total is 128)
Wellington-Napoleon, 94
Is St. Paul the one in Concordia? Its enrollment is listed at 194.

PCole
St. Paul number includes the multiplier. However, this year they are under 150 total.
