How angry will everyone be when STL wins all the football championships this year?

Maybe in class 3-6 there’s definitely possibilities. But I’m pretty sure all STL schools are disqualified not reaching any standard of amount of games played, and there’s already been a STL playoff announced. Is there “big mad” for only recent success for STL schools when you can recruit and have both sides of the ball with 4-5 star recruits and it took years still to beat country kids? I think so.

From a MSHSAA press release in early August, the minimum requirement for number of games has been waved this year. It is posted on their website.

Are there any St. Louis teams having to play out of county teams this week? A season opener vs any decent squad with 5 games under their belt is a legitimate challenge.
I don’t think so, I think most are playing each other. My friend told me his son at St Dom is playing MICDS in 3 weeks which would be st Dom 7 game and MICDS 2nd

Big mad? Or small mad because most only played 4 games to start?

Same question we seemingly get every year.. Yet STL does not deliver, so its a moot point.

St. Louis will not be winning class five. Not a chance, actually
Need to see Chaminade and perhaps Ladue before saying that BUT Jackson rolled C5 east side last year and have all the key players back so.............likely correct.

COVID is going to derail SW MO, STL wins not even playing a SWMO team. SW is also including Jackson even tho its not SW at all. For Clarification porpoises

I won't be any angrier than St. Louis football fans were when the Rams left town, and the cross state Chiefs won the Super Bowl and became the best team in football.

It's not a thing man. It really isn't. Lived in KC for years, tried to convince some folks of that. KC has a little bro thing going with STL. STL sports fan couldn't be any less concerned with KC sports guy. It's a weird dynamic.

Until you say “1985”
See...That's the thing...My disdain for that series has NOTHING to do with the Royals. Has everything to do with Denkinger and the blown call, and Juaquin Andujar snorting (trying to stay with the blown theme here) away game 7. Nada to do with the Royals. Don't hate the Royals. Don't like the Royals. Outside of 2014 and 2015, never really thought a thing about them. Heck, I thought it was neat when they won. Especially when they knocked out the Angels...But Royals fan, for whatever reason, thinks it created something.

Had a Canuck friend ask me one time what Americans really thought of Canada.

My reply was: “They don’t.”
Lol. You say Canada...I always think cold. Every. Single. Time...And bad beer. Like really bad beer. But other than that, yeah, not much else.

And what about your disdain for the first baseman that missed the pop up right after that bad call? or the pitcher that let the Royals go on to take the lead?

If the first baseman hadn’t been holding on the unearned base runner his angle to get to the ball would have made the pop up a gimme. And the pathetic Royal reject, Darrell Porter wouldn’t have had a passed ball and the pathetic Royal reject Darrell Porter wouldn’t have done a pitiful job not blocking home plate on the perfect throw from Van Slyke because it would have never happened. The best bullpen in baseball hadn’t blown a 9th inning lead all year until they got Denkingered. He is rotting in hell, as we speak.
Hmm, I have never considered this angle. Maybe Porter, the Joplinite, wanted his former team to win the World Series. You forgot to mention that he also originally called for the pop up that Clark didn't catch. Now I like Porter even more.
The Cardinals should have participated in game 7.........11-0 LOL.

It all happened. Jack Clark lost his mind and then botched a play. Todd Worrell couldn't find five outs. That's how many he needed after the blown call and Jack heeling the foul ball. None of those happen if Denkinger doesn't blow the call. And I think herein lies the problem with most KC fan guys and STL sports guy. KC fan hates STL fan BECAUSE the Royals won in 85. The Royals won in 85, in part, because of that blown call. As far as blown calls go, it's about as memorable (and obvious) as they come. For whatever reason, Royals guy gets more mad about Denkinger than Cards fan. It's sort of like they dislike Cards guy for mentioning it, like it somehow lessens the title. KC fan will say STL fan is smug and arrogant because they won't give the Royals credit. Cards fan is typically not full of hate for the Royals, but full of hate for Denkinger (and Andujar...and a little Clark...it's easier to hate Clark too, just because he's such a tool now). It's the darnedest thing in my eyes...What can KC fan and STL fan (REAL STL fan) agree upon? BFIBs suck, there's some common ground there.

Played a ton of 11-point pitch with a Royals fan from Gallatin in college. Three Birds fans and him. He always kept score. Can you imagine how many times the score was 11-0 after one round? In about three years of playing about 8-12 hours of 11-point pitch weekly (we'd play from about 6pm Thursday to 6am Friday)? I'll tell you, it was a ton. And EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. he'd reference the score and game 7. It still makes me laugh to this day, and we haven't played since '96.

The popup to Clark did hit the lip of the dugout one game after George Brett nearly died (overstatement) chasing a ball into the dugout. You could understand his uneasiness. He should have hauled it in, but people act like the ball was hit directly over the bag. The guy was pretty new to 1B at that point. When you put an iffy glove out there for his bat, you can't blame him when his glove fails you.
The passed ball from Porter looks like an obvious cross up on tape, but no one ever brings that up.
The reason KC won is because they held the Cardinals to like 13 runs in seven games and like five after game 2. Sometimes good teams just stop hitting for a week. The postseason is an utter crapshoot. Plus, KC could really pitch.

The Royals were hitting below .200 for the series prior to the explosion is game 7. It should have been over in 6. But we got Denked.
I just looked it up for you.
The Royals through game 6 were batting .270 (54/200), the Cardinals were batting .190 (35/184).
