(Hillsboro) Hillsboro High School Activities Director Ed Moreno, who was on paid leave of absence, has since requested a transfer to a teaching position for the remainder of the year and submitted his letter of resignation effective at the end of this school year.
According to a press release from Hillsboro R-3 School District, “The Board of Education granted his request for a transfer to a teaching position effective February 3, 2020 and accepted his resignation from the district effective at the end of the 2019-2020 school year.”
The Board of Education approved Terry Edwards as substitute Activities Director and Assistant High School Principal for the remainder of the school year.
Edwards retired from the Hillsboro School District in 2008 after serving 12 years as an administrator at Hillsboro Junior High.
He previously served as athletic director at St. Clair High School prior to coming to the Hillsboro.

You thought your dad hated you for a long time giving you that terrible name. But after an All-American college football career, running the steel mill AND the booster club, you realized your dad did you a favor. He knew if a man's going to make it he's got to be tough.
