The Roman Catholic Church officially banned any means of birth control, since they blocked the natural journey of sperm during intercourse. According to Church doctrine, tampering with the "male seed" was tantamount to murder. A common admonition on the subject at the time was "so many conceptions prevented, so many homicides." To interfere with God's will was a mortal sin and grounds for excommunication.

I don't like the idea. Too easy for fraud. I wouldn't have a problem if they spread it out over several days if they are worried about crowds. Put a gag on media about reporting early returns.

The only significant mail voting fraud I can recall was the case in North Carolina by the repubs.
Their basic needs are being met by the state....Again I worked in that field for years I did the paper work/Computer work to determine eligibility for EBT/Medicaid/Medicare etc. I know all about the Fraud and all about how the system is abused and titled. I know way more than you do about their so called plight! American is not a third world country with actual real poverty.

Play number one in the Book Lie about the Children and their suffering...It has zero effect on me because there is Zero truth to it. And if any child is suffering that is because their Parents are irresponsible and neglectful and no amount of money is going to fix that....EVER.
The tax payer still isn't responsible to feed the children of others....and Again if they are underfed it's because the Parents/Guardians are not doing their job with stolen money.....the hand outs are there.
I agree the Pub's have Zero interest in Abortion other than to get Votes.
Pub's could try to ratify amendment and sent it to voters for a Vote and see if enough states want to make it illegal. Probably Never ever happen.
Pub's just need to realize it's a moot point in this day and age...and let it go.
I agree the possibility for Fraud will be rampant....Show up, provide a ID and proof you are who you are and vote. Wear your mask, wait in line, distance etc. It's not like voter turnout is ever that great it shouldn't be a issue.
Even if they ratified something it would have to be deemed constitutional..it doesn't matter if there is a vote or not, the Supreme Court has the ultimate say.
I'm talking about making it a Amendment to the Constitution....once it's ratified and part of the Constitution then the courts can't over rule it or deem it unconstitutional because it would be a constitutional ban on Abortion. It's hard to get done....the last time that was done was prohibition but it can be done.
