He is winning with Danny Manning's guys, just like he won 30 with Mike Anderson's guys. Give him a couple years he will run that program into the ground (and possible NCAA violations) and then run off for greener pastures.

Could they really be worse?

What an awful year this has been. Imagine how this team would look with Price, Biedscheid, and Jabari.

Tulsa's leading scorer 14.9 PPG is from Lee's Summit high school in the Kansas City area. ( Shaquille Harrison 6'3" Guard )

Tulsa record-----17-6 and 10-1 in the American Athletic Conference and has a good chance to be in the big dance. I have never been a big Frank Haith fan but we must take a step back and give him credit for the job he's doing @ Tulsa.

Haith knew he had no shot at the dance at MU so he got the heck out of town while the getting was good. MU would have a better record too if they played Tulsa's schedule!

And Tulsa would have a better record than Mizzou does if it were in the SEC. Some perspective here, this Tigers team is just awful.

Actually Shaq is from Lee's Summit West. As was Michael Dixon who played for Haith at MU that first year. Both were juniors when Haith showed up.

Shaq is Monte Harrison's older brother. Monte was all-state in three sports last year, signed with NU, but became a millionaire when he signed with the Milwaukee Brewers.

Haith's ethics are somewhat questionable after the stuff that went down in Miami but he was always a decent coach. I think the one great season he had at Missouri he probably got too much credit for what was a very good Missouri team but his track record as a coach is that he has usually won a few more than he loses in conference play.

Would he have more wins this year at Missouri? Probably a few more. Would Missouri be more likely to have some future trouble with the NCAA? Quite possible. I don't think Missouri was going to accomplish anything else significant with Haith. Let's see where Tulsa is in 2-3 years.

I'm an outsider but I see a Missouri team that does have some talent though I think probably not as much as some think. It is apparent that several players have pretty much all but quit on the team. I don't think Anderson is going to be the coach at Missouri in 3 years but I do think he will probably put a team on the floor that will get a little better the next couple years and probably make the job far less toxic for another coach to come in and take over. I think some decent coaches might have taken the Missouri job but were apparently scared off for some reason.

Mike Alden is apparently not well regarded in basketball circles.

Haith was a decent coach. Certainly better than what we've got now.
