A big ole smoked baked potato with pulled pork, sour cream, butter topped with some BBQ sauce

Ahh, Stag. Many moons ago when I was on a college student's budget we used to have:
Steak
Taters
And
Gravy
as our go to.

A fake wife seems like the right thing for a doc guy to get crap over though. interesting how @shoot90draw isn't it
Not buying it Bosko, something is strange about you and Shoots relationship..... Doc Guys always give each other CRAP!! This seems to have upset you and Shoot.
Ok you clowns! The first tradition we Doc Guys had was sticking, TOGETHER!! Giving each other crap came around later. I've given Bosko plenty of crap for being overweight, a bully, and possibly running a corrupt booster club.

I'm jealous! I loved that place. Went there at least once a week and grabbed wings to go and a Stag while I waited. Haven't been in 15 yrs or more. That and Tractors were my go to places.

lol Tractors

I will concede to saving a couple of fries to mop the remanence of what remains from the rest of them meal.
A fast food junky gave me the best advise ever about any kind of fries. Eat half of them first as the quality of the fries expires at a much higher rate as the grease cools.

Isn’t Stag originally an Illinois product.
Great product relaunch. I prefer the 24oz can. Keeps me in line.
You are right on Arcola... All of this beer talk sent me to Google which said that Stag was originally brewed by the Western Brewery in Belleville Ill. I got Stag confused with Storz which was brewed in Omaha but is no longer made.
It went on to say that Stag was bought out by Pabst Blue Ribbon and is now made in Wisconsin. PBR also now makes Schlitz (the worst beer ever !) and Old Milwaukee.

Omaha has a great craft brew scene.
The one I remember is Lucky Bucket.

Um Schlitz is delicious.

Speaking of wives. I have re-lived this type of scenario over and over for 38 years.

Wife: I am running to the store to get another can of tuna fish and some bread.
Me: ok can you get some peanut butter cookies?
(Wife returns from store)
Me: where are the cookies?
Wife: they didn’t have peanut butter cookies
Me: then what kind did you get?
Wife: you said peanut butter so I didn’t get any.
Me: (head freakin explodes).

After 38 years I have learned to write 3 different options on her list.
