Hash Browns vs Potato Chips

Now, I was told if I were to stop and eat in Pitt, I should go to one of the Chicken Places
Pittsburg is a small town, but it has a lot of great places to eat. Jim's is fantastic for dinner. Chatters is a great place to watch a game and get something to eat. Mall Deli is a fantastic place to grab lunch. Harry's Cafe for breakfast. Then you have all of the chicken places.

Hmmmm. You semi recently moved to ID too. Now there is some sudden potato shortage. Coincidence!?!?
I think not.

My attorney lives in Texas and I am NOT in Texas right now. NICE TRY!!
Bosko, I would recommend you lawyer up ..........quickly. The last guy I knew that got one of those D...vorces walked into the coffee shop next morning with a dazed look on his face and announced to no one in particular, "You never know a woman until you meet her in court!"

Divorce, n. meaning to have one's wallet removed through his genitals.

You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear but you can get pretty close with a scrotum per Mrs. (now preferring to be called Ms.) Bosko

I have several friends that grew up in Pitt that go out of there way to tell me about Mall Deli. Gotta get there one of these days. Have only been to Chicken Mary's and Chicken Annie's.

Clearly you dont follow MoSports that closely. Ive stated on her several times, that I have a lawyer. A Brown educated lawyer I must add!

Well, that is also somewhat true. Barto's in Frontenac (suburb of Pittsburg, if you will), Chicken Annies or Chicken Mary's (they're right next to each other but north of Pittsburg and off the road a bit. There's another Chicken Annies that is in south Pittsburg that, I'm told is very good.

This thread was about fries, but in all of the places listed above, you've got to get the onion rings...

There's a line going out of the door everyday for lunch at Mall Deli. They have really good food at great prices.

If you're ever in Cape Girardeau, Pilot House has tremendous seasoned steak fries.
Sweet Jesus Veerman...you just rocketed right to the top of my favorite posters list. Pilot House is one of my all-time favs. Their house wings are amazing, or they were 15-18 years ago when I enjoyed them as a SEMO student. And they had Stag on tap!

It is sort of weird how you have this strange obsession to making sure everybody understands Mrs Bosko is fake....make me go hmmmm. Not other Doc guy is talking about it but you and Bosko?

Sounds like someone is still upset he didnt get voted in! Shoot is simply upholding the Doc Guy of tradition that we stick, TOGETHER! You wouldnt know anything about that because you didnt voted in. NICE TRY!

A fake wife seems like the right thing for a doc guy to get crap over though. interesting how @shoot90draw isn't it
Maybe you havent been paying attention then! Shoot has been the only poster supporting us Doc Guys since day one! We give crap to each other and stick TOGETHER! NICE TRY!!

Now can we PLEASE get back to debating which form a potato is better!?

Stop it man, I hate their fries. I hate any curly fry. Gets all discombobulated trying to dip it. Then it breaks off and I get the soppings all over my beard. Just a pain. My wife's one big pregnancy craving was this sandwich at Arbys. I grew to hate those fries. But I love the sammies there!
Trying to dip it? Fries are like steak, if you have to dip them in anything someone already screwed them up.

And PBR...and you got frozen mugs and the taps were so cold you got the frosty head at the top of the pour. Man, if I didn't live on the complete opposite side of the state I'd be down for a Pilot House run.

Just stop it TT. I'm all about the soppings. Ketchup, ranch, Sweet Baby Rays, sriracha ketchup, occasionally mayo, that weird sauce from Chick fil A...oh yeah, and the fry sauce from Freddy's!!! Their spicy fry sauce is a treat.

I suggest any of you chefs invest in a Blackstone Griddle. I bought the 36" last year and have immediately killed any chance of losing weight. Fried potatoes and the works, couple pounds of bacon etc

I will concede to saving a couple of fries to mop the remanence of what remains from the rest of them meal.

I would say an airfryer is also not bad and a lot cheaper

I've used ours a TON since buying it. Saves the mess in the house and is great from spring to late fall. Nothing better than standing on the back patio watching deer in the field cooking deer loin and fried potatos on it!

Also, this design was just released two days ago. Air fryer below the griddle.

I was there about 3 years ago, Stag still on tap and the wings are still legit.

Bullit:

European Style Salted Butter (available in many big grocery stores) on Texas Toast with a thick slice of ham and cheese. The butter puts it over the top..........

I will have to try that out!!
Probable have to go to Springfield to find that Butter, might be hard to find in Wal-mart or Price cutters down here in little old Monett.

Thats Doc Guy tradition 1a. Tradition 1b is sticking, TOGETHER!! NICE TRY BUDDY!

Listen I know about sticking together. Been in the Booster Club going on 15 years been the President when we won many state titles in several sports Rock it CUBS!! I love all of our coaches and while we stick together.... we love to give each other crap and on a daily bases, well maybe I do more than them...they just have to take it until they change their cellular number!! The young guys really suffer!

I'm jealous! I loved that place. Went there at least once a week and grabbed wings to go and a Stag while I waited. Haven't been in 15 yrs or more. That and Tractors were my go to places.
